It alerts you to new posts to you. Its been around for a few years, however, looks like they just added a link.

It's a java applet that comes up when you get FReepmail or a response to a post. I love it!

If you are busy doing something else .. you can put the notify thingy on and it will ding and let you know when someone makes a post to you

If you can see the "pager thingy", it means that you are the on-duty FRail monitor and it's up to you to locate anybody who has yet to respond to any FRail that they have in their box.

I constantly have to refresh my page to see if there are new posts to me - even when I leave the My Comments page and then come back to it - I still have to refresh.
So I guess the pager wouldn't work for me?
