Holiday Greetings for the Politically Correct

Dear Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all . . .

. . and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2004, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishee.

DISCLAIMER: By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher. This greeting constitutes the entire wish and should any part or parts of this greeting be held invalid, all remaining parts shall continue to have the full affect allowable under generally accepted wishing practices.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

How did wishing people Merry Christmas and Happy New Year get so complicated? There are certainly a lot of liberals on my list that will be getting this.

Too funny. This card would go well with the T-shirt from Glenn Beck's website, "Have a Happy RamaHanuKwanzMas".

There once was a day of some fame
That no one dare now call by name.

Yet risking offense
To PC-er’s weird sense

Merry CHRISTMAS to y’all, just the same!

LOL! To the few liberals I'm obligated to send Christmas wishes to, I usually send a fruitcake (the ultimate empty obligatory gift, as well as a subtle metaphor of what I think of their ideas). But I think I might start sending out a nicely printed card with this message instead...

The word 'holiday' is everywhere. Our corner of the country has been seemingly cleansed of ANY mention of Christmas in the public square.

Okay...Here's the deep dark secret: The only people who think like this are constipated women and the men who are utterly cowed enough to love them, or at least tolerate them. The only solution is for thinking people to shun them.

I've just sent this to a few liberals already and received some responses and they just don't get it, so I'm feeling like your round friend.
