I've been making it a habit to answer every "Happy Holiday" greeting I get with a hearty "Merry Chritmas!" I've had no corrections or complaints and most people seem genuinely grateful for the greeting. Imagine that! :^)

No, they're more than that. They have most of the entrances "jersey baracaded" in a zig-zag fashion, and there are black SUV's that look just like what the Secret Service ride in, in the Presidential cavalcade, and there are others, unmarked and marked.

It is however unusual to see this car parked where it is.

Me too MamaB. I'm sick and tired of hearing that I shouldn't celebrate or state my religious beliefs. Freedom of speech exists for all. Even if the ACLU wishes it didn't.

Great thread .. thanks .. love to see such wonderful pictures of our First Lady. After 8 years of the shrill, unattractive, smarmy person who was supposed to be a First Lady, but tried to act like the President .. Laura is certainly a breath of fresh air. I can truly understand why the President treasures her so much.

I am sore tonight, but the Therapist tortured, er, put me through my paces, I gained 13 degrees more movement (bending) since I saw him last week!


I did my Christmas shopping this weekend, and just got done wrapping all the gifts, whew! Feels good to sit down!

I'm not going anywhere tomorrow!

Not only did Ipsos-Reid/AP release GREAT poll results today (I provided a link to these results in an earlier post), so too did Annenberg:

12/17-21/03: 62% approve 36% disapprove (+26)
12/14-16/03: 64% approve 34% disapprove (+30)
12/09-13/03: 57% approve 40% disapprove (+14)

NOTE: The President's post-capture SPIKE has stayed within the margin of error! WHY: Support for the President by Independents has remained strong AND support from Republicans has remained virtually unanimous!!
