The antiwar candidates will never admit they were wrong, only that the Republicans planted the info. Their hate for W is incredible. Even worse than mine was for Clinton !! It took me a good 5 or 6 years to work up a genuine, flat out hatred for Clinton. By contrast every single Bush hater I know personally was in that mode from day one.
Even as a Clinton hater, I never completely lost my ability to apportion praise and blame with some measure of objectivity. I readily acknowledged then, and do now, the things that Clinton did that were right (supporting NAFTA, signing welfare reform, etc). By contrast not a single Bush hater I know has been willing to praise anything Bush has done.
I recently emailed a liberal friend (who happens to be black) a couple mainstream news articles about the peace agreement soon to be concluded in Sudan, the result of a diplomatic initiative begun early in the Bush Presidency. He actually got mad at me for sending him "propaganda". The ending of a war that has killed and displaced millions of Africans, and the prospect of a peace deal likely to include the liberation of a thousands of black African slaves, was bad news to him, apparently, so long as it involved Bush.

Lol, thank you for the kind words. I meant CENTCOM was the primary news source on Iraq, not me. Lol...I just share their stuff with others, and try to get the mainstream press to pay attention to the CENTCOM facts and reports. *g*

Well, well, well !! BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- U.S. forces operating in the so-called Sunni Triangle -- the region of Iraq most loyal to captured former dictator Saddam Hussein -- found a significant weapons cache that included al Qaeda literature and videotapes, the U.S. military said Tuesday.
Members of Task Force Ironhorse 2nd Infantry's Arrowhead Brigade discovered the material Monday morning at a site in Samarra, about 65 miles north-northwest of Baghdad. Some of the items were found hidden in a false wall, the military said.
< snip >
The military did not say how it found out about the weapons, but a member of the Iraq Governing Council has said in recent days that Saddam has begun giving interrogators information about weapons arsenals used by insurgents to attack coalition forces.

If Atta finished his training at Salman Pak - I wonder if that was why he was later trying to buy a cropduster? We know SH tested sprayer nozzles. Anyone make this connection before? FBI - R U Reading This?

Not possible. They can't even SPELL Al Qaeda. Saddam faints at the mere utterance of that name.

Jeez ! From your link:Ill do whatever I can to help people with strong, progressive voices, she said. In terms of sheer volume, the right wing has really outshouted everybody right now.
I want to change that.
For folks that don't know, when these Libs say Progressive, think Socialism and Communism. That's what they mean. It's sugar coating makes it easier to swallow ...
Scary stuff, folks, imho ...
Exposed: Pelosi's Socialist Ties
Pelosi leader of 'Progressive Caucus'
From those links, these excerpts ...
"DSA/USA, the 'Democratic Socialists of America' are the U.S. arm of the Socialist International. They share the symbol of the fist holding the rose, and they share the tasks to be accomplished in our case, an altogether different America ...
"Some time ago the date is missing from the descriptions 58 members of the U.S. House of Representatives formed a subdivision of the Democratic Socialists of America and called it the Progressive Caucus. Their statement of purpose, as well as their membership list, formed an integral part of the dsausa Web site (www.dsausa.org ). The membership list appeared on the screen with the continuous background of the fist holding the rose, should anyone have missed the connection with the Socialist International."
Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., the likely [she is now] new minority leader in the House of Representatives, serves on the executive committee of the socialist-leaning Progressive Caucus, a bloc of about 60 votes or nearly 30 percent of the minority vote in the lower chamber.
The Democratic Socialists of America's chief organizing goal is to work within the Democratic Party and remove the stigma attached to "socialism" in the eyes of most Americans.
"Stress our Democratic Party strategy and electoral work," explains an organizing document of the DSA. "The Democratic Party is something the public understands, and association with it takes the edge off. Stressing our Democratic Party work will establish some distance from the radical subculture and help integrate you to the milieu of the young liberals."

"Two Iraqi police were shot dead in their car late Tuesday as they drove near Baghdad International Airport..."
In the end, it will be the Iraqi's themselves who will have fight to keep their newly found freedoms. I pray they have the courage to withstand all the blood that will be shed to keep them.

speaking of Jethro Tull.. I must have a case of Aqualung .. I got rid of the chills soon enough, but have a bit of a tight upper chest and a bit of a cough, I think it's more a carryover from a couple of days in the casino (I guess I need to work on building up my immunity)... funny thing is there weren't that many folks there when we were there (I didn't see Osama anyway).. or maybe it was the fat stogie and seasonal brewskies I sucked down Christmas day.
Happy New Year and take care.. we're gonna stoke the fire tonight and watch the gunships making passes over the crowds.. What a country!

Ah, C'mon--Iraq has nothing to do with aq. More than likely a few families just checked out a few films from blockbuster for an evenings entertainment and of course the weapons were just for home protection.

Liberals will believe that Al Qaeda worked with Barney The Dog to cause 9/11 before they'll believe that Saddam did anything to deserve what happened to him....
It's sad but it's true. They hate GWB because Clinton humiliated himself. Their hero fell from grace, so anybody else's hero must be evil.
Had Clinton only been able to keep his pants zipped, we'd have a President Gore raising taxes and minimum wage, and promising to create jobs that would get us out of double-digit unemployment...and 9/11 (and subsequent, unanswered acts of terror) would still be unavenged. But he'd promise to get around to it...just vote for him again in 2004...and people would!
They hate him without reason and despite the fact that they have no viable alternative plans to anything the President has done. Gore certainly didn't. Not one of the dwarves does. They can wail and gnash their teeth, but they cannot articulate a well-formed alternative plan.
