Someone needs to Photoshop Bush's or Rummy's head in the space anyway.
Or even a teary-eyed Howard Dean or Jacques Chirac wailing over the scene of Saddam's crucifixion.
To: Kevin Curry
I'm thinking this photo was Photo-shopped. Hard to believe they would have had a camera on site to document this as they didn't even know it was him until several hours after they dragged him out.
But if the photo is genuine...good job.

Yup, no name tag, rank or unit insignia.

Good Pic of Saddam.
I wonder if that's the solider that said, "Pres. Bush sends his regards"
To: AxelPaulsenJr
Oh I see, is this what the soldier looked like without the blurring?Exactly. And Saddam is Daffy Duck.

I thought there was video of him poking his head out of the spider hole. If they had video, they could surely have a digital camera.

I read an article that did say everything was documented with photographs. This was done, to preserve evidence, if and when it proved to be Saddam. If it hadn't been Saddam, then no one every would have heard about the hole in the ground, let alone seen this picture.
(Remember Jessica Lynch's rescue, that was recorded on film, as it happened.)

Looks like he might have a little blood around his mouth and left eyebrow from the spitting incident. Good work Special Ops!

Hard to believe they would have had a camera on site to document this as they didn't even know it was him until several hours after they dragged him out. They did know that it was a HVT mission. In any case, I would think that cameras are a standard part of the SOP documentary arsensal.

Looks like a glove holding a pipe or something in the foreground (bottom right).
