Hard to believe they would have had a camera on site to document this as they didn't even know it was him until several hours after they dragged him out.They had a pretty good idea it was him. After all, it was Saddam they had been sent to look for. I would imagine there were dozens if not hundreds of photos taken, but the brass have been keeping them back.
I think his hair has a believeable gravity tug in the direction of the ground. But what would I know? If Micheal Rivero were here he'd be pointing out all the visual clues that "prove" the photo was actually taken before 9/11, in the main floor men's room of the Bellagio.

Why is the soldier's face blurred? To avoid him being targetted or identified. This is to protect him, as well as his family back home.

Looks like a glove holding a pipe or something in the foreground (bottom right). It is the cable being used to hoist him aboard a helicopter and the gloved hand of one of the operators. A copter would also account for the high angle of the picture .... assuming this isn't a fake.

Notice that indeed his teeth and lips appeared somewhat bloodied. I wouldnt be surprised that the guy grabbing Hussein in that photo was the one that received Saddam's spit, and punch Saddam in the face in return! LOL!! Great photo.
