Check Out Lou Dobbs on CNN Cable right now – he’s really tearing into the Illegal Alien Amnesty of Bush!

If you’re not tuned in, check it out right now, Lou Dobb’s on CNN Cable is really hitting the pertinent points regarding illegal aliens as well as the Bush amnesty. If you missed it, hopefully it will re-air later tonight, on CNN cable. I believe this man truly is a fighter and advocate for the interests of the workers and labor in this country the USA – he is asking very direct questions about the problems of illegal immigration from Mexico, and though he may be a Democrat he presents the news in a superb manner, in this case brings an exciting and significant forum of news events discussion and coverage (Faceoff on CNN, as well as other CNN programs featuring this host). He really got my blood going, he was right on and no fan of illegal immigration.

I don’t want to hear the Mahatma Gandhi insult/quote from Hillary again, not even from the so-called conservative shows/hosts. There is only one issue to cover, and that is the Buffalo that Bush has pulled on all conservatives and Americans. You know, some folks say the Democratic Party is dead. Maybe so. But, maybe not, in that, I would wager, if some Democratic candidate, spokesperson, politician (with a D next to the name) went back to early Democratic Party roots, and focused on the interests of American workers, that is hit on the issues of exporting American jobs to India et all, off shore outsourcing, and yes, what the invasion of illegal aliens from South of the Border is doing to undercut living wage jobs in the USA for labor, I would predict this person would rise like a comet, a meteor, and could very well take the White House. Would the Democratic Party make such a swing away from the left “progressive” wing to become a party that advocates American Workers First? I think it is possible, not immediate, but possible, and probable to come. It’s all a matter of which party gets on this wave first – the Republicans or the Democrats. I predict, that will be the Party that will sweep America. Don’t think so?

I think so. I think that these issues, Made in America, Jobs in USA, American Workers First, illegal aliens, Bush type amnesty, exporting American jobs, offshore outsourcing, are, and will become even more, THE issues of the next four to eight years, and more.

I am outraged by Buffalo Bush.

How dare that man say that I would not do the jobs, any job it takes, to put food on the table of my family. How dare that man say such a thing. That I am a lazy American, and the only Mexicans who come here illegally have the character to do a job, any job, to put food on the table for their family. He can go to Mexico and not come back. My forefathers lived in a wooden box pulled by a horse with a canvas for a roof called a horse drawn wagon, to go somewhere, to put food on the table. My forefathers worked in dirty mines, chucking broken quartz and rock into wagons, to put food on the table. I will do the job, I will get up on someone’s roof and put up shingles, I will paint a wall, I will pick up garbage, to put food on the table for my family. I am an American. And I am proud. And I have the character to do anything it takes. How DARE this President say I won’t do the job it takes if that is what it takes to put food on the table for my family. How DARE he say that. I am an American. I will work. My character, and the character of my forefathers, brought the FREEDOM of this nation, not some illegal alien from Mexico. I will put MY character up against them any day, any place.

Against any one.

Including you, Mr. Bush.

You are remarkably bigotted AND stupid.

Bigotry has been the order of the day, around this place, today.

This is FR, after all.

Do you think he is going to make the same mistake twice. CFR was a doomed issue for Bush. McCain was all over him and would have probably tried to run in the primaries against Bush. He had no choice but to do this... In this case, this is a smart tactic to take as it takes away the attention from the caucuses and puts all the attention on Bush...

"Occasionally it is, but not normally. FR is a great idea, technology-wise, but it is overrun with radical reactionaries, misanthropes, racists, and others that have just been generally outcast (rightfully so in many cases) by mainstream America. It's kind of sad actually."

Don't be so hard on yourself. Your insults havn't got you zotted yet...today.

As far as your slight attempt to call me a racist, name me any Hispanic or African dominated country that respects individual liberty and private property.

Nobody needs to call you a racist when you make statements like this!

When you and the other idiots finish drastically changing the demographics of this country, where will yor children go?

My boys are cops. They're being RECRUITED by three or four police departments.

Oh, and if you decide to move out of overpopulated California to underpopulated Texas, I promise I'll tell my boys to cut you some slack here in the 'hood.

My sister and her family are here visiting from Honduras. They've lived there for many years. I think you'd find several Central American countries that respect liberty and property.

Is it a perfect place, no, there are thieves and you have to be careful of your property, but guess what, we have people in this country that don't respect private property either.

No... he's a great guy. Great name for the cause of American conservatism. I mean, I think GWB said something about how he too wished all gays would get AIDS and die miserable deaths too, right? Or was that just Michael Savage? What a great guy. Glad some "conservatives" think that guy is acceptable.

Just had a short 'dicussion' with hubby about the upcoming election and I was shocked! He's the most conservative man I've ever known but he hated Reagan. He's had a union job all his life and can't see how voting Republican could ever help him.

My comment was 'Fine...don't vote Republican because they're for the 'big bosses'...we'll be poor. Go ahead and vote for the Democrat (if you can find one you believe in)...they'll support your unions, raise your taxes, and we'll still be poor. Then he said 'maybe I should vote a third party'....I said sure vote for Perot one more time.....

Why is it that Texas conservatives like us are pro-business, capitalist, and immigrant-friendly whereas California "conservatives" on FR are totalitarian, restrictionist, isolationist, and anti-immigrant to the core? God Bless Texas, imho.

Interesting how the compassionate Dems are cannibalizing Bush over this when it's been a Democrat proposal in Congress for the past three years.

Ya suppose this was anticipated by our President when he made his announcement today?

Think about how awful the Dems are looking right now to all those recent arrivals who are eligible to vote now for the first time and are now learning that the Dems don't give a flying leap about them:-0

I don't think Bush ever expected this legislation to pass.

I do think he wanted to cause turmoil in the Democrat party and to that end....he's succeeded.

CFR was a political pander. This may be too, but the difference here is that this one is absolutely the right thing to do.

I am getting such a kick out of hearing all these folks with their drawers in a knot about illegal immigration. Coming from the Lone Star State, hispanic culture was just a part of the way of life in my town. The Penas and Ortegons were die hard Cowboys and Astros fans. My friends and I would trek out to the all-night Mexican cafes, gritar with the Tejano bands, make a run for the Border and visit Boy's Town on the weekends.

Do the borders need to be controlled. Sure. Handling immigration is a related by different issue entirely. To seek the destruction of W over this is simply absurd. The thought of allowing that crazy dude from Vermont near the White House is mind boggling.

I am not a professor but you call me bigot, and you are the one who wants to deport 10 to 18 million people "with no one to replace them in the work force" that is downright STUPID. That I can spell. And before you get your panties in a twitter I am Cajun and we know a little about getting kicked out of a country.

In California, at any rate -

a) There is insufficient non-Mexican population where picking jobs are, even if you count high school summer hires. If you want to get native US workers, the premium would be astronomical.

b) Ag products have to compete with imports - Grapes, tomatos, even Gilroy is losing business to Chinese garlic.

So between the hammer of a) and the anvil of b) the only ways out are c) - Hire Mexicans or d) Large agricultural subsidies or tarriffs, or e) Give up on agriculture.

So do you prefer c) or d) or e) ?
