My choice of "No big deal!" was not offered. Women are allowed to whip out their boobies to breastfeed anywhere and at anytime in America, in front of whoever they choose. So, I ask, "What is the big deal?"

Poll Results: People disapproving - 69%
The Article along with it calls it a "Bare Breast Flap"...
You CAN'T make stuff this good, up!
To: BushCountry
You don't understand why people would react differently between a woman breast feeding and a man tearing a woman's top off exposing her breasts?

Absolutely inappropriate. Considering Jackson is sister to the Wacky Jacky, perversion must run in the family. Timberlake must be experiencing a lull in his career like Jackson to participate in a porno stunt.

The question was, was it inappropriate.
Did you really have to think that hard to answer the question?

I am tempted to tell you to take your straw man and go perform some unnatural act, but I digress.
Is a breast offensive or evil? Of course not. Is nursing babies offensive or evil? Absolutely not. Neither are any other body parts or other needed activities to nurture and raise our children.
This was totally different. This was not nurturing a child in some semblance of privacy, or wherever the hungry kid could finally get dinner. This was an in our face sex act performed in front of our children. This was either an accident, that could only have happened if he was groping her which is a lude act to begin with IMO, or something planned by him and her costumery people, which makes it an assault if not almost rape, or it was planned and carefully staged by all of them.
Am I offended by this? Wrong question, and rather irrelevant. Was it a sex act that involved nudity performed for money in front of minors? That is the question, and in my opinion the answer is yes. Further, I believe that one or both performers should be in jail at this very minute.

Normally, there are not 180 million people watching her breastfeed. And the timing and manner coinciding with the lyrics were just plain disgusting. Who wants to see her breats anyway?

Great shot...reminds me of the "Stop Ahead" sign painted in the road in our old neighborhood; some road patching, though, had taken the first 'A' out - gave it a whole new connotation...

I had a lot of difficulty getting through to the CBS "feedback". But I told them that there could be no apology in this case; that TV is nothing but filth/rot/slime/scum/garbage.

Is a breast offensive or evil? Of course not. Is nursing babies offensive or evil? Absolutely not. Neither are any other body parts or other needed activities to nurture and raise our children. I was being sarcastic. I guess I got a little explaining to do. First, I find that breast feeding in public is offensive. I am sorry, but I am old fashion and always avert my eyes seemingly in shame when a young mother whips her breast out to breastfeed in public. I also cringed insided when this happened in front of my 10 year son. Internally, this just didn't seem right.
As far as the nipple stunt is concerned, it isn't as big as a deal as people make it out to be. Did it bugged me, a little. Was the stunt childish, almost as much as the streaker. With the ridiculous lowcut jeans and see through tops girls and young women wear to the mall and the beaches that are littered with string bikinis, where is a safe haven?

I couldn't find the poll, however I did write to Shame on You and suggested they do a story on CBS, that we tuned into the Superbowl wanting to have good wholesome family entertainment. Shame on CBS,Viacom and MTV!

Should nursing be "in your face"? Of course not, it should be in the hungry kid's face.
I am also somewhat embarrassed by the way some mothers flaunt the act and appendages of nursing. On one airplane flight I spent a couple of hours examining the other side of the plane for this very reason, but again I digress.
However, I would much rather have my children see a mother specifically uncover a breast or two for the intended and needed act of nursing, and then cover it all back up in an appropriate manner afterward then have them see intentional mudity and mostly-nude activity for the sake of either shocking, attracting or toying with others.
To me nursing is in a different universe than the sexual uses of a woman's shapely torso. Having my kids see people nurturing babies is in my mind worlds away from the semi-perpetual state of 'semi' undress we encounter at beaches, malls and now football fields. Your statements seem to equate these activities and I find that slightly disturbing. Now that I understand your bias a little better I apologize for the strawman comment earlier, but I still can not totally agree with you when you seem to say that nursing should be shunned and proscribed to some dark back corner, dirty bathroom stall, or used as a way to keep women captive in their homes with their babies.
