I don't think his whole body was forged - just the bolts sticking out of his neck.

"I was an instrument of a foreign policy with no common sense. I was forced to carry an M-16 to serve that policy," Would he have felt better carrying a flamethrower?

Ya know, we can all have a big laugh about Kerry's looks, record, manners, etc. We know what a a-list a-hole he is. But this is getting serious, Kerry is picking up support and accolades while trashing Bush all the way. His Vietnam stump message does pack a wallop with many folks, and gives him a way to spin his war stance that is tough to counter.
To: Doctor Stochastic
So Kerry was in Viet Nam. He was a war hero. That is all well and good but the operative word here is WAS. Is he going to strap on a bandolero ala Rambo and flush out AlQuaeda himself? What's his being in Viet Nam have anything to do with the War on Terror?

His war stance is that he voted in favor of the war because he was so against it.
Thats a hard sell outside of the moron-world of a Democratic primary.

Yeah, well, too bad Kerry was ashamed of his service in Vietnam once he returned to the states.

"I was an instrument of a foreign policy with no common sense. I was forced to carry an M-16 to serve that policy," he tells campaign rallies.
Kerry helped organize a huge anti-war protest outside Congress in Washington in 1971, appearing alongside Black Panther Angela Davis and earning a place on president Richard Nixon's notorious "enemies' list."

He was not forced to become an officer. If he engaged in actions he believed to be illegal, then he is by definition a war criminal.
Didn't he hunt down and kill a wounded enemy combatant? What's that all about?

"I was an instrument of a foreign policy with no common sense. I was forced to carry an M-16 to serve that policy," he tells campaign rallies. Did fast boat captains in the Navy have M-16's issued to them?
Methinks this might be 'fabbed' material too ...

But this is getting serious, Kerry is picking up support and The season is still young yet - he's not even a nominee yet!
He deserves little, if any, comment from a sitting president at this time - and THAT'S what he got Sunday, a 'little' comment ...

Nah, Kerry doesn't even scare me a little bit. When people get a load of his bizarre stances (raise taxes, fuzzy feeling social programs, amnesty for illegals, and what about gay marriage, eh John?) even the most brainwashed NTY/WP/LAT reader/ ABC/NBC/CBS/PBS viewer is going to think twice.
Only 16-20% of this country is liberal, 35-40% is conservative. The creamy middle isn't going for that loony left B.S. It's one thing to say "whoever is running against Bush" with February muscle, but when the curtain closes, people will hold their noses and do the right thing.

Huh. I thought he was forced to use a 50 caliber machine gun against the Viet Cong?
