WASHINGTON -- Massachusetts Sen. John F. Kerry, Vietnam War hero, is suddenly getting slammed as John F. Kerry, Vietnam War protester.

At a House Republicans retreat earlier this week, discussion of how to target the Democrats' apparent standard-bearer hinged not so much on examining his 19 years of Senate votes, but on his work against the Vietnam War.

"So yes, Kerry's Navy records need to be released."

===

Why isn't the media clamoring for that and examining whether or not he really was entitled to wear each and every medal and ribbon he is wearing?

Good question and I think the 'media' should be notified and request of Kerry that he release ALL his Navy records. Specifically what each of those eleven ribbons are for.

And I recall hearing recently on FNC that Kerry now doesn't want to talk about his medals/ribbons - I wonder why???

Also, let's not forget that in addition to buggin out of Nam after four months, he ALSO requested a six month early out from the Navy - which he was granted.
Hmm, I wonder if his dad being in the diplomatic service and anything to do with that??

I believe he did throw his own medals over the fence and then found some replacements, once it became politically expediant.

Did you see this picture? It's more of a close up and thought perhaps you can tell more about his medals.

Hey thanks,
I had this pic but mine wasn't as sharp. I'll try to crop & enlarge his 'medals' in this one and see if I can identify the left two, in the middle row of three. Those are the 'mystery medals'.
