"Hey there, doesn't national policy welcome anything ILLEGAL into this country while turning a blind eye?"

The subversive socialist liberals sure do!

Foreign incursion on American soil needs meeting with strong medicine. You, Mineral Mouse, are the idiot. If you love the Mexican invasion so much, put the invaders up on your soil or are you merely a tennant?

You mean this one.

Link to thread on Cochise County

Locked-up thread. I guess someone has a problem with you guys defending yourselfs in Cochise County. I feel that the citizens of your county have every right and should be able to use any means you feel fit to defend yourselfs against this invasion. If the Federal government had done its job, this problem would not exist.

You want our borders defended? Send a letter to Bush. He's in charge of the military.

LOL! You did mean that to be funny, right? I believe at least a few Americans have already contacted the White House in regard to defending our borders. But no response has been issued by the President on the subject thus far.

The guy is an idiot. First, for telling people that he's going to shoot Mexican soldiers if they come on his property. Second, for believing that if he does so, he'll go unpunished. You want our borders defended? Send a letter to Bush. He's in charge of the military.

Why do we have foreign military units regularly tresspassing on peoples property for the purpose of enforcing a group of drug smugglers? Bush isnt doing anything about it. That doesnt mean people dont have a right to defend themselves. This guy is trying to call attention to the problem before it gets further out of control. For that you call him stupid.

Meanwhile if you were in their shoes you would just run away and abandon your home right? Otherwise you have to be at the mercy of a foreign military that can come on your property at anytime they wish.

When can a citizen defend himself? When a group of armed thugs tresspasses on the property? When the thugs have surrounded you and are pointing their guns at your head? Do you have to wait till they pull the trigger first?

Give them license to do as they will aside from shooting at you and eventually they wont have to shoot at you. Your right to self-defense will become a moot point.

You're joking, right?

"Aim small, miss small".

Words of wisdom from the movie "The Patriot" starring Mel Gibson.

I believe in "Peace thru Streagth". If our federal government showed Mexico a little military streagth in defending our borders, we'd have peace in Cochise County.

Yes, no help from Washington; locals are on their own.

Only real political pressure would make Washington send troops. I would guess the governors of border states would do something first, like use the national guard.

Idiot! He has threatened members of a foreign military. The next time one of them turns up dead at or near the border, guess who's going to get arrested. Idiot!

In an earlier period of American history, you could've said basically the same thing about another group of patriots. That idiot George Washington! What the hell did he think he was doing? Didn't he know that he could've been arrested for being in charge of a ragtag militia group that was killing British soldiers? That idiot!

So what happens when an "incident" happens. Is the owner supposed to scread their gun and destroy all ammo from the same batch?

Our local sheriff has finally had a gut full and is now forming his own group of volunteers.

Good man. I wish them well.

Is he getting fair treatment in the local press?

Sure he has. Bush has given us his grand we-can't-call-it-amnesty plan.

The next time a Mexican soldier sets foot on the small chunk of border property owned by a Ranch Rescue member group,

Why do you say he's an idiot? Have we completely given up our property rights now? If the Mexican military decides to use your property for whatever reason --- drug smuggling being the most common reason they would ---- you are to turn over your property to them?

"Vigilantes?" "Senior, did you say vigilantes?" How about 'Civilians Rallying Against Corruption' (or homelanders defending against government CRAP)?

I don't live in a border state so correct me if I'm wrong but I never hear of border state governors taking a stand against the illegals crashing the border. Some even seem to be in pander mode, for votes I guess.

I do hear them asking for taxpayer money to offset the medical, education, crime, clean up and social program costs the illegals cause the states to incur.

Bush isn't in control over the Mexican excursions into the USA and they are becoming more bold. Fox is testing Bush --- he's seeing what he can get by with and for now he knows he can get by with a lot. I think Bush would have Americans let the Mexicans build their army bases on that land just to keep "positive" relations. We seem intent on keeping the corrupt elites over there in power no matter what the cost.

Strange, isn't it, that THEIR crossing the border doesn't cause an international incident or hinder relations with the US.

It's strange too that the Mexican government has it's military crawling all over the border, but Bush is too afraid of that government's reaction to put our military on the border to get them to back down. There are Mexican army guys all over the place --- and it's hard to know all what that's about.
