What Bush vs Kerry is really all about
Jim Robinson

Posted on 02/16/2004 8:16:44 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Forget the current hullabaloo regarding the thirty some odd year old service records of the two candidates and all the other hysterical, hypocritical, hyperbolic horse hockey being raised by the Democrats and their operatives.

Here's the commonsense bottom line of what the coming election is about:

Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to surrender our national sovereignty, our national security and our national defense to the United Nations and other so-called world government bodies. The Democrats do not believe that war is sometimes necessary to defend the nation and or our national interests. The Democrats do not believe that the United States has the right to self-defense. The Democrats do not care about our national security or defending our national sovereignty. It's not in their game plan. In fact their game plan includes acquiescing to the United Nations, a world court and a world government. There's absolutely no doubt about it. It's in the record.

Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to increase our taxes and continue increasing our taxes until they totally destroy our economy and our ability to compete in world markets. Bush is a sworn tax cutter. Kerry is a sworn tax raiser. No doubt about it. It's in the record.

Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to kiss off our traditional man/woman marriage and from this point on it'll be anything goes. Bush defends traditional family values and a moral society. Kerry promotes the feminist/abortionist/homosexualist agenda, no matter how absurd, perverse, abhorrent or evil. No doubt about it. It's in the record.

Either we re-elect President Bush or we allow President Kerry and the Democrats to appoint and confirm nothing but NOW/NAMBLA/Globalist approved feminist/abortionist/homosexualist liberal activist judges. Bush will appoint judges who will abide by the Constitution. Kerry and the Democrats will appoint and confirm only liberal activist judges. Allow this and we can kiss our Constitution and what's left of our national sovereignty and freedom goodbye. No doubt about it. It's in the record. Period. End of story.

APPLAUSE!!!!

STANDING OVATION!!!

Jim, you got to the heart of the matter in a few paragraph, and pointed out the huge difference a Bush vs. Kerry presidency means for all of us.

These are all that really matter.

I wish the Bush administration and the Republicans would make their case as succinctly, pointedly, and clearly, as you did.

They should make ads using one of your paragraphs for each ad. You bring the points home to everyone.

Bush would get reelected in a landslide.

Jim, I don't know about you but I am getting old; I just bought a new computer, hooked up Comcast.net, got a router and networked my daughter's computer and assembled a new chair for the main computer desk because the hair from our three dogs had rendered the rollers useless and the almost new floor was being mercilessly scratched.

I trust George W. Bush in a sense that I never trusted his dad, I feel that being a Republican in middle Tennessee is about the same as being an Oreo in a box of Cheezits; but, I will vote for Bush come November if I can keep these creaky bones moving.

Thanks for fighting the good fight,

Ken

You give me goose bumps, and make me tremble with grief and hope at the same time...thanks, Jim.

For all the purists who dis Dubya for this or that, it's time to look at the bigger picture.

Sometimes I think that it's better to go ahead and let the SHTF. Everybody knows exactly where they stand then and there is no more fence to straddle.
I oft wonder if that isn't the better of two evils.
(BTW, we've already got fences on the border...people who've broken bones jumping from the 20-foot border fence in Calexico... so why not do it up right?)
End of story.
End of story? Nah, the next chapter of the story would be just beginning then.

well I was going to scream the Y word, but I'll leave that with Dr Dean.

The United States Supreme Court will be repopulated over the next ten years or so.

The Democrats play scorched Earth politics when it comes to the Court, we are seeing it now.

Whatever the debate over spending or any other issue may be, that one truth is too overwhelmingly monumental to ignore.

Who would you prefer nominating Judges to the SCOTUS?

Kerry, or Bush?

Re your post #33 - That quote from Kerry is frightening. He sounds like he wants to change the job description of US President, so that it no longer includes the responsibility of also being Commander in Chief.

"Gentlemen, start your engines", he went to the races and now, he is fixing to start HIS engine and the and the flag drops, the race is on. The way the media has it, Kerry will take office next week."

Although I hadn't thought of it this way, one of my favorite posters here on FR, gulfcoast6, said it this morning. I thought it should be said again!
