Kerry Says Bush Uses Sept. 11 in Ads to Scare America (Update1)

March 5 (Bloomberg) -- Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said President George W. Bush is trying to ``scare America'' and ``change the subject'' by using images of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in ads for his re-election bid.

The television ads, which began broadcasting yesterday, signal the start of the general election campaign between Bush, 57, and Kerry, 60, the Massachusetts senator who sealed his bid for the Democratic nomination Tuesday with wins in nine of 10 states. Kerry is making the Iraq war and the 2.3 million job losses during Bush's presidency centerpieces of his campaign.

The Democrats want 9-11 off the table. It doesn't play to their strengths. Fortunately, the President's going to ignore Kerry's whining and insist the American people decide who will best handle the twin challenges of the War On Terror and homeland security.

I wrote about this in relation to the Passion of the Christ. I felt they tried to keep people from the movie because they feared that Christians would be reminded of why they became Christian. The call of anti-semitism was only their execuse.

The images of the World Trade Center Attack have the same impact. Watching the buildings be hit and watching them fall reminds us that we are at war, that we have enemies, and why it is that we fight. The sentiments of the families of the victims is the excuse.

Personally I could care less about them as a group. They are Americans and that is what I care about. If watching those buildings fall is what it takes to remind Americans why we fight then so be it. It is unfortunate that we have to be reminded in the first place. I wonder if people in 1944 and 1945 had forgotten Peral Harbor?

The 'Rats have been hammering Bush since well before he took office. It's obvious that there is no way they'll ever quit hammering him, it's just a question as to what they'll hammer him most for today. I'm shocked that any Americans tolerate this sort of grossly dysfunctional behavior (as to the antiAmericans, they're toleration of such juvenile behavior is to be expected). As this is so transparent, it will be interesting to see how many votes Horse Face accumulates in November, as that will give us our most accurate census of antiAmericans inhabiting our beloved nation.

The Rats are beating a dead horse. They insist on trying to attack Bush's strength. I must admit, that the Bush campaign is much more intelligent than the rats this time around.

By doing so, they will keep 911 even the news. They kept "The Passion of the Christ" in the news the same way. It is a blockbuster, and so goes the presidential election this time around.

The more light that is shined on the issues, the faster the roaches will run.
