Bush Needs Your Help! Why don't you participate in this little opinion poll by Germany's left-left-wing SPIEGEL ONLINE?
For three years George W. Bush has been the most powerful man in America - and the world. How would you rate his time in office up to this point (in school grades)?
1 = Bush did a great job as President . . . 6 = Bush did a miserable job as President
You need to click "ABSTIMMEN" after selecting a number.
As of 5 March, 2004, 1 pm (Berlin time), Bush's results are rather miserable. Only 3.3 per cent for "1" and 1.47 per cent for "2".
As of 5 March, 2004, 10pm (Berlin time), Bush's results are EXCELLENT. 41.23 per cent for "1" (= Bush did a great job as President). Many thanks!! YOU GUYS ARE DOING JUST GREAT!! The Bush haters at SPIEGEL ONLINE will have a heart attack tomorrow morning... Keep up the good work!!
And many thanks to Ray Drake who alerted me to the SPIEGEL ONLINE poll!
Note: In Germany students are given numbers as grades with 1 being the best and 6 being the worst, they correspond to American grades as follows: 1 = A 2 = B 3 = C 4 = D 5 = E 6 = F

David has posted many very interesting observations on the German media on his website, many of which have been posted here. Now he wants to have some fun with the "Spiegel". Let's show him how we appreciate his work by supporting his "Freep".

From the Spiegel-article:
Cudos for provoking Spiegel into a reaction now - but Spiegel's findings were not so favourable, were they?
Anyways...tx for the yolly good fun of getting Bush with a Grade A listed at the earlier poll...LOL. But hang in there - apparently quite a few Germans are stupid enough to also be voting in this silly poll right now to turn the results around.
Greetings from your sometimes not-so-loyal satellite-slave-state Germany,

Hello its fascist, the liberty fight of the Iraqi people only still begins. Then the world can see, how the Amis can run. Each day dies an American soldier
What's your unemployment now? 11.1% That sucks, huh?

Hey guys! I've just found another poll at www.howtowastetime.com! Currently 60% vote that it's OK to keep 2 gay hamsters in the same cage. This will not stand! This is an offense for the traditional values of good Americans and their pets. Defend the anal virginity of all hamsters around the world and turn the vote!!!

First of all a little reminder to what you had agreed when entering this podium:
"Purpose: The Free Republic forum is intended for Conservative users who wish to have a serious discussion about political events, conservative principles and the elimination of government corruption and abuse. This is a news and information site not a chat room. Please stay on topic. Free Republic is a supporter of free speech on the Internet but we believe that along with the privilege of free speech comes the responsibility to respect the rights of others."
So - I don't feel worse after your intelligent objection.
But I'm not sure if I'm welcome here because I am no "Conservative user". (BTW I don't need Babelfish for this.)
What do Conservatives conserve actually?
Well, that's off-topic, sorry.
So answer these questions please: Do you think freeping is a legitimate means in a democracy? Or is "Democracy" something to throw on the pile labeled "Old Europe"? What is the purpose of these actions? Can't you stand the circumstance that people want to express their opinions freely, at least in Not-so-loyal-countries? Think, please. It helps, the Germans should know.
Greetings

The Germans have dicovered your Bush-pollen-Freepung:
You need tons click "co-ordinating"

(This is a Google translated excerpt from a Spiegel article regarding Freeping)
Vote vote-pfuscher
You need tons click "co-ordinating"
Of franc Patalong
Votes are a fine thing, the butter on message bread. They give a feedback to the on-line Medienmacher, how the reader sees a thing. George W. Bush regard nearly 60 per cent of the readers of MIRROR ON-line ONE for example as a Top president. We know also, why.
From the guidance for the falsification of the Mirror On-line Votes: "You need tons cklick ' co-ordinating!'" The widow Vivian Freep from Midland (Texas) is "George Bush's biggest more supporter".
Beautifully for Bush, the European imagines there, but in an American conservative Credos ascends equal the anger. An insolence is that, which does not want to say no more and less than the following: Bushs success is based on the assistance of humans, who manipulate, disturbs, falsifies.
Because "Freeping" is an Slang expression. He means the nocturnal pasting over of election posters, the organization of being noisy area MOS, the purposeful disturbing of appearances of political opponents and - not least - the massive falsification of tunings in the InterNet.
The strange term developed for end of the nineties and goes back on the web page "Free Republic" of the ultrakonservativen activists Jim Robinson. "Freep", how the web page was fast called by fans, understands itself as "a conservative message forum". Principal item of the offer is the panel, in which it goes partly violently to the thing.
The conservative click Guerilla
Free Republic began as Clinton Hasser side, developed themselves further however fast. First Lorbeeren harvested the "Freep Movement", when the side began to call in various elections for the "support" of conservative candidates.
Completely concretely: It concerned to disturb demonstrations of the democrats to tear off or falsify posters, to opponents to support actively. Already as itself Bill Clinton saw, to organized Freep groups in different US cities "info. meetings" and switched newspaper advertisements confronted with an office expulsion procedure. The term "Freeping" developed and meant: Over tones the opponent.

Now we can be a Clinton Hasser and a Kerry Hasser. With over 11% unemployment in Germany maybe they should poll their own leader. Or better yet we should conduct a poll here on their leader. Is Schroeder doing a good job?

Because Spiegel is linking to this post, I am replying in german.
