Canon EOS 10D | March 20, 2004 | toupsie

What these two "Patriotic" Americans' sign says:
Support the Only Position with Successful Historical Precedent
Call for the Mutiny of U.S. FORCES in Iraq as in Vietnam!
U.S. Regime withdrew from Vietnam in 1975 only after
Mutiny in Ranks: Mass Shootings of Officers by Enlisted Men
and Refusal of Recruits to Even Get on Troop Ships! Mutiny
at an earlier date would have saved the lives of
2 Million Vietnamese and over 58 Thousand Americans!

Why are most socialist protestors funny looking old guys?

They're trying desperately to recapture the feeling of what many thought to be the best times of their lives (in the late 60's), but just can't seem to come to grips with the fact that their youth is long gone and Woodstock is over.

Btw, if a Rat Prez were currently in power and had conducted the war in Iraq exactly as Bush has done (a big if, I'm well aware), these protests wouldn't be happening, and the leftists would be praising Iraq's liberation like there's no tomorrow. This is all about partisan politics and nothing more.

Did Carter give blanket amnesty to the wussies or did he give them a token punishment like a small fine, I don't recall.

great pic. I was in San Francisco for a counter-rally. It was great. The antiwar communist peace activists didn't know what to say. They were stumped seeing us out there. Check out: http://protestwarrior.com/ pics from counter-rallies all over the U.S. will be posted soon. If anyone is interested in getting involved in a great conservative organization check out the Protest Warriors. We can use more conservative activists.

Funny, I spent the ENTIRE DECADE of the 70s in the Navy, made 3 combat cruises to 'nam, was on the staff of a couple of Admirals, had a TOP SECRET clearance, in fact I had clearances so high that the mere fact I held them was CLASSIFIED CONFIDENTIAL, and I don't recall anything like this in ANY of the intel reports I read.

Did anyone else hear of ANYTHING like this????

Blanket amnesty.

He didn't even have the guts to punish them with a small fine.

I say bring these loosers to the Vets they spit on.

That should be punishment enough. And just to ensure that no "Naked Gun" situation happens (the police chief went in to beat up the thug but the thug beat him up instead) establish a patriotic perimeter. If the punishment starts to look sour, the people at the sidelines can join the frey.

They will never, ever, spit at another serviceman and burn our flag again as long as they are dead...um...as long as they live.

You can't see it well in this photo compressed for the web, but in the full size version of this photo the words "Iraq as" are pasted on top of something. Notice the background behind it is darker than the rest of the fabric. I am sure they had a major typo on sheet and only discovered it after they finished. Can you imagine the pandemonium that caused at the commune? Two really super brilliant left-wing intellectuals scrambling to cover their mindless error. Today was full of them...

I guess I missed noticing all of the "troopships" heading over to VN. Sheeesh....

Well, I flew from SFO airport [San Francisco] to Tan Sohn Nhut at Saigon [and boy, were my arms tired afterward....]

[just thought I'd throw that old line from back then in]

Ah, how is it that that never got reported by CBS/ABC/NBC?

I wouldn't blame 'em for mutinying!
The troop ships didn't hasve those Braniff stewardesses in the mini-dresses.

If anyone who was a Braniff Girl 30 years ago or so happens to see this, thank you honey.

I had a TS, cleared for TREMOS. Closest I can think of was the race riot aboard the carrier Kittyhawk, which included a white guy getting thrown overboard.

A sad footnote marred the Kittyhawk cruise. Towards the end of the last line period, racial tensions reached a high among the 5,000 men aboard Kittyhawk. On the night of October 12th, 1972, a race riot exploded. Seven men were seriously injured.

"Mutiny"? That's a naval term, is it not? Betcha these aging hipsters were shipmates of the profane snowboarding Frenchman.

Yeah, in the secret hyperspace transmissions of the Trilateral Council that the fillings in my teeth were picking up.

Of course, that only happened when I was in range of a black helicopter. Or a UFO.
