Monsoor Ijaz to testify before 9/11 commission
Fox News Channel ^ | 3/28/04 | me

Posted on 03/28/2004 1:36:20 PM PST by alnick

Please forgive the vanity, but I've done a search and cannot find any reference to this.

I saw Monsoor Ijaz on FNC an hour or so ago, and he said that he has been asked to testify before the 9/11 commission. He appeared to be anxious to do so.

If this has been posted elsewhere, I'll ask the mod to take this down.

What audio tape is that? I haven't heard it yet. Can you give us a brief overview of it's contents?

"The commission is a KANGAROO COURT and absolutely worthless and biased."

So there is no reason we shouldn't get our licks in.

Great - that pleases me.

Too bad 99% of America won't know anything about this. CNN/MSNBC/CBS/ABC/NBC/NYT/Washington Post/AP/Reuters/et al won't give Monsoor more than a line of print each... but they'll be running front page stories about their hero Clarke until election day.

IIRC, Mansoor actually worked for the Clinton Admin in the 90's, and he had direct involvement in the negotiations with Sudan to hand over bin Laden.

"Are you going to testify," to which Ijaz responded, "I hope so."

Wait. You said he said he's been asked to testify. Now you're saying he is "hoping" to testify?

Newsmax has links to a couple of Clinton tapes. That may be what Hannity was playing. One tape is Clinton explaining why he did not accept the offer from the Sudanese to take bin Laden---in Clinton's voice/words--and what many Clintonites have denied.

I've had my posting priveleges revoked at DU over 30 times with 30 different nicks. You're right. Anything right of sheer hatred for Bush and the GOP is strictly forbidden. Just remember their ultra-left form of censorship and their politics is what stalin's government promoted. Funny how demoncrats always seem to hail free speech and freedom of expression yet their actions speak louder than words. They are dems, Kerry supporters, and hypocrits with a lot of hatred.

Hannity has it on his site, it's a scratchy audio, but you
can still make out what clinton is saying.

If Ijaz is allowed to testify, it'll cast a real pall on clinton and his whole administration.

if that tape isn't played at that hearing, it will be a sure sign that is is a total sham (its close to that already). i don't know how these members are selected, how there can't be a single strong voice from the right on this entire commission it seems.

Clinton's audiotape is owned by Newsmax, I believe. I'm sure they would be more than happy to provide it, If Ijaz needs it.

"...You made a good point. He spent a lot of credibility capital placing UBL in Ira. Ihe American military obviously did not think that was the case and continued operations in Afgaanistan...."

If I was Osama bin Laden, I'd be in Iran. The U.S. military operates just about everywhere but there. I think all this activity in Pakistan is just a trap set by the I.S.I., to make us think they're on our side. I'd bet even money that Osama IS in Iran.

"I think the 9-11 Commission hearings are a bipartisan thing."

Clarke spews some non-sense and the crowd erupts in applause, in a court setting, and you say its a bipartisan thing??

Stand back from the pipe, stand back...you have had enuff to smoke today..

There was a thread on FR last week that Hannity had Condi Rice on his radio show and played her the tape. I think the thread said she hadn't heard of this before either.

Any relationship to the Terry Nichols bomb- building mission before OKC? Or was that a totally separate incident?
