What percentage of the typical audience is foreign-born, I wonder?
To: livesbygrace
This is not half so insane as liberals in the USofA wanting to turn over our sovereignty, and national security to the United Nations, whose members are not our friends or allies.
We should pull out of the Balkins and let the Muslims have Europe. They can sink or swim on their own.

In Mexico during a soccer match with our American team, the Mexicans were chanting "Osama! Osama!". This whole world is gone. America is just barely holding out, but we've got a large portion of the hate America crowd right here in this country that want to be pacifists! The only other country with any good is Israel and that's because they've got to live with people out for their destruction. This world has gone mad.

When some obnoxious group of foreigners do something insluting towards us think it through -- consider Tim Robbins latest play -- and remember it isn't the entire country.
The audience of this play would love us again if Clinton, Gore or Kerry was our leader. Of course, if that were the case we'd be letting down a whole lot of brave and decent Brits, who would not even consider attending this play.

They'd be singing a different tune if that fertilizer bomb had gone off in one of those theaters.

I remember reading that on the morning of 9/11, on Wall Street, there was a visiting delegation of senior Chinese officials/investors, and when the live TV footage of the crumbling towers was shown, they, as a group got up and cheered.

"Now I have to admit that I havent myself been to see this theatre attraction because I am unwilling to spend the $30 (or whatever it may cost) to line the pockets of its writer, a Mr. Alistair Beaton."
$30 is a small price to pay to see the actual production if one is going to write an article on it.

It would seem that familiarity does breed contempt, after all. We have had a close bond with Britain since relatively soon after the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. Apparently, that bond is irreparably broken.
Shall we write a musical comedy about the Battle of Britain and laugh at the death that Hitler's buzz bombs wrought? Tempting as that might be, Americans simply have too much class to do something so despicable.

Is anyone in this forum really surprised by this? Sheesh, after Timmy Robbins "play"?
At least they admit some hate us because we have a higher standard of living for ALL, that we do love to eat well, and we aren't "quiet" as is the "english way"...which btw has led them to ruin economically and on the world stage so many times in the past its redundent.
I like the Brits, but every society has a fringe element that takes pleasure in loss, takes delight in wanton death. They are no different in this aspect.

One small play out of thousands written and produced every year in Britain. Who really cares? No-one has to go and see it - probably few will. This has nothing to do with a British-American divide. It's about the International Left's dislike of patriotic Right Wing leaders. The US produces far worse anti-American propaganda than this.

These people will be carrying a coating of slime on them when leaving this "theatre" that they did not have when entering. For some this will be yet another coating of multi-layered ooze in a irreversible process. For others, not so far gone and who can be redeemed, the slime will be felt as inherently uncomfortable. And instinctively they will want to wash it off. It is a felt sin to jeer and jape at the suffering of others. The "laughter" on such occasions is not long at all in bringing a feeling of uneasiness and, yes, lasting shame upon most of those doing it.

What sttupid morons. The 9/11 attack is also the worst oen in British history. The Brits lost over 300 people in that attack. More than anything the IRA or the LEftist terrorists could come up with.

Imagine going for a night out to the theatre in Germany during the 1930s. It would have been quite normal with not one eyebrow raised in the audience to be watching a production which showed film footage of Jews being beaten up.Article about a German audience in 2002 laughing at Jews being beaten up during a showing of "The Pianist".

Can anyone believe that a British audience would sit and watch such filth and be laughing all the way through? Of course I can. The British pride themselves on being refined and sophisticated. In reality they lack any manners what so ever, are extremely rude (any American journalist who has ever had to deal with them will testify to that ), mean spirited, jealous, aristocratic jerks.
Frankly, I'm tired of these people with all their ridiculous lords and princesses and dukes. Read "The Royals" by Kitty Kelly and you'll see just how nasty these people are. For example: "prince" Philip was on tour in America with Elizabeth 2 (queen of some island that thinks it's the center of the world). The secret service agent tried politely to explain to him that he was not allowed to move the car that they were in because the president's car had not moved yet. Philip became increasingly impatient. Philip then shouted at him: "move this f****** car now!" rolled up a newspaper and knocked him on the back of the head with it (hard); all the time the queen said nothing. She later sent someone to apologize to the agent in her husband's place.
I simply fail to see how these apes are better than us. I hate the British almost as much as I hate the French.
