SB1160 Rally In Santa Monica May 1st. Pictures

Here are some pics and descriptionof the "Caravan for Justice" that took place in Santa Monica on Saturday, May 1st. The mayor of Santa Monica seemed to be the 'superstar' of the event, and the main featured speaker. He grinned from ear to ear and waved paper plates in the air with the illegal aliens as they chanted slogans, to wild applause.
LMAO!! Look for yourself. they protested outide Schwarzneggers' santa monica office, which was the 3rd stop in their caravan. Other stops included Macarthur Park, the federal building and ending with a rally in Koeatown.

It would have been great if a van with "migra-green" stripes s-l-o-w-l-y cruised by or a few brave souls showed up wearing clothing of a similar color.
I understand a chopper with those stripes panicked a bunch of illegals in Texas and shut down a contruction site (it wasn't from the govt.) while the latter inadvertantly cleared out a local Stop-and-Rob.

Funny how that seems to work isn't it?! there really is nothing more to say. I am tired of special pleading cases - if you do it legally you are welcomed into the country, if you don't it SHOULD be a little harder for you to get work and such... geeze

You see, he isn't. He's the Governor of California, not Mexico. Since it's almost impossible to naturalize in Mexico, he never will be either. Did you know that only Mexican CITIZENS can work in Mexico? Just a fun fact.

The thing is that a drivers license is not a right, it is a privilege. They (undocumented) keep referring to a license as a right. In which case, it should be automatic for all of us too. So why do any of us have to be tested for a license.
Along with that goes the responsibility of carrying insurance and registration of a vehicle to drive. They will not be willing to comply.

I live in Santa Monica & didn't even know about this...
Our mayor is not even elected....they "take turns" being mayor.
The council is such a joke.....at one meeting while a car manufacturer (Chrysler??) was trying to get SM to test their fuel cell car (this was protested by electric car fanatics) one of the council members got up , went to the corner, put on his earphones from his I-Pod & started practicing yoga.
