PHONY IRAQI ABUSE OUTRAGE SYNDROME

WHEN GOOD NEWS COMES OUT BAD

Happy Cinco de Drinko everybody!

There's is so much good news in the paper lately. Only problem is it's presented as bad.

The latest trick of the left, which proved incredibly effective last decade in helping Rodney King become a WMD, is to work up a lot of phony outrage at Iraqi prisoners being tortured and abused by our military.

"Iraqi Prisoner Urinated On!" And the problem is..? It's the least we can do, really. OK, you're in the Twin Towers on 9/11/01. What would you choose? Someone flying a packed airliner into your head or getting peed upon in the lobby? Thought so. To the anti-US news reporters the only American allowed to pee on others is R Kelly. The only outrageous thing to me is that the soldiers did not shout, "That's for Tillman and Pearl" while they were emptying their bladders on the kindly shepherds.

Yes, I know. Even Rumsfeld and Bush are outraged. What do you expect them to say? "Well, the White House believes that pissing on a guy has it's merits?" Don't they already have their hands full trying to explain to the mentally disabled of the print media the basic concepts of right vs. wrong and self-defense?

It's sad that the news media treats Michael Jackson better than our military. And it's sad that some people are eager to prosecute any of our military as war criminals before Saddam Hussein answers to his evil.

Abuse is necessary for the survival of a free state. These "prisoners" have another name. Enemy combatants. We are fighting dirty people who see Geneva Conventional warfare as old school. "Yo my sand nigga. That's a bunch of Babylonia. Knowwhatitisthatiamsayingtoyoumyfriend?"

As I said last year on the air to much hootery and derision, the eggshells upon which President Bush must walk to fight this war will continue to cause needless death. Lob a nuke and see what happens. It worked for the Japs. They sure as hell calmed down and concentrated on electronics and sushi.

Everytime we conquer a land everyone wins. When we fought Germany did anyone think it would yield some of the kinkiest porn America has ever seen? Tons of Jews driving Mercedes?

We whipped Russia's ass, everybody loves vodka now...more so than Raymond. It's even flavored for the 'tweens.

Britain and Canada...America's twin sons. We steal all their comedians and TV shows and make them better..Tom Green being the exception.

The South is in much better shape than the North these days. NASCAR is huge everywhere. We even succeed when we kick our own ass! That's how great this country is.

So before we weaken ourselves even further in the eyes of the Arab world by holding congressional hearings on the wedgie, let's make examples of the soldiers who have bravely farted in the face of evil by giving them medals that they can bring back home so John Kerry can toss them over a fence.

TOMORROW: MORE GOOD NEWS DISGUISED AS BAD

I'm an old dog-face and I'm outraged beyond belief.

That was not the condition that I left "My Army" in when I retired in '92. Then who or should I say what was running it from 92 to 2000? What happened to all our services in the Grandiose social experiments fostered upon our services in the name of the "Peace Dividend" and "PCism?"

"There are not too many countries who are signators of the Geneva Convention."

At the last count there were 189 nation states that have signed the convention.

Long Cut, you have stated what I feel about this better than I could.

We ARE better than this behavior. That is what makes us different from people that use loaded jetliners to knock down office buildings. I am ashamed that these morons have allowed themselves to become the face of the U.S. Military. I am ashamed that they gave the press the type of story the press has been having orgasms over -- the type of story the press has been praying for.

I want their officers OUT of the military and I want those that perpetrated these actions turning large rocks into small rocks at Leavenworth.

"'They' do it" does not cut it as an excuse to behave in this manner.

"I didn't know any better" is the first lie told by the guilty.

"My husband is just a scapegoat" comes a pretty close second.

I, along with you, am heartsick over this, and disgusted at those who would excuse these barbarities.

It's not just the PC crap. Just look at the commanding "general" of Abhu Graib, Jans Karpinski.

Her vomit-inducing attempts to deflect blame, avoid the responsibilities of command, and overall ass-saving Bravo Sierra on TV is symptomatic of the OTHER Clinton-induced disease...that of avoiding, through any means, accountability.

I've talked to officers in my command. They are, one and all, outraged that a high-ranking officer is conducting herself in such a manner. They know, full well, what message is being sent down the chain by her self-serving babyfacing. It's that Flag Officers will pay "lip service" to the ideals of the service, but when the time comes to actually LIVE by them, they'll run for the tall grass and leave the "E"'s holding the bag. Our officers (including the C.O.) were livid at what she did to their ability to command respect from the men under them.

30 years ago, Richard Nixon (who, although he may NOT have been personally responsible for the conduct of his surrogates) rsigned rather than bring dishonor to his office. He chose, in the end, to do the right thing for the country. Fast forward to Slick...he denied, lied, blamed others, dissembled, reversed himself, and fought tooth-and-nail to hold onto that office and title he loved so much more than the nation he was SUPPOSED to be serving. Obviously, his example was seen, and heeded.

Those who use that logic must believe that we should have set up crematoriums for Japanese and German Americans in WWII, after all, "they did it".

You're not defending me or any other soldier when you defend lawlessness.

Understood. I know I don't care what bad happens to the average sand maggot. They must be quarantined or destroyed. The authorities can take whatever action or not. I have no interest.

If a BG whines about "not enough training" should that be taken as resigning their commission? I would certainly hope so. Where was she under fire to deserve the rank????

I have no military prison guard training and I would not have done this simply on moral grounds!!!

Further to my earlier post I was forgetting about the definition from the US Supreme Court. In UK forces and for the rest of the world it is very more simplistic "Enemy personnel - In or out of uniform who carry arms openly".

Ping to #60, Soldier. Keep reading after that...the slobs at the prison don't have all that many friends here, which is heartening.

I have this image in my head of the President saying to Secretary Rumsfeld, as she was spilling her Bravo Sierra babyface routine, "I want those stars, on my desk, soonest. Preferably pinned to her skull."

From what I've seen of the President, I'm probably not that far off.

Sadly, there are times that I have seen people come close to stating just that.
