Now this is getting way over the top...This is beyond pale I have to take it easy so I won't say anything that would get me kicked off. I was considering retiring this year after 21 year in the Air Force. Now I'am so pissed that I may stay till every one of these worthless SOBs are burning in He%%.

Agreed. I typically think it's a good thing to watch these videos to remind ourselves of the depraved evil that we are combatting, but this one really turned my stomach (quite literally...I'd just eaten lunch). His screams will stay with me for quite a while.
These bastards should be caught and burned alive.
To: NYC Republican
He should also add the photos of those jumping from buildings on 9/11 and the 4 contractors in Falluja.

The point is that there is no comparison between the photos from the prison and what is seen on the video.
Yet, the media will only show what hurts Bush.
If anyone is ghoulish as you describe, it is CBS for its "abuse for dollars and ratings" attitude. To hell with the safety of our troops and the safety of the hostages. CBS needs to make a buck!
CBS also needs to find other ways to destroy Bush -- the Bash Bush a month book club hasn't worked.

I won't watch it. My heart is hot with fury. But America needs to watch it. I would like Ted Kennedy to watch it for 24 hours straight.

=== No one here views it in that sort of way...
Even worse ... they think it ought to be "mandatory" viewing so that Americans may be properly "inflamed."
All good news for Hannity's hit-counter, I guess.

I'm afraid we don't have time for slow and horrible. There are too damn many of them.
Perhaps we should just give old Osama what he wanted - an all-out war of the West against Islam. However, this time the crusaders will not be riding horses and carrying swords, they will be flying airplanes carrying thermonuclear bombs.

CSPAN 3 is continuing the Iraqi Prisoner Abuse hearing this afternoon.
I just turned it on.
Business as usual, it appears. I don't know if they are aware of Berg being beheaded or the video.
Majority Leader Frist should walk in and say 'this farce is over because we have a real war going on' and shut this down.

A model of decency?
Let's have some context here. The prisoners in Iraq were being interrogated. The goal was to get information from them to prevent the deaths of more Americans. No one is asking whether or not the interrogration techniques worked; no one is concerned about the fact that, if we do not allow these interrogation techniques, we will have much less information to work with.
And the certain result will be that more Americans die.
Arguing for humanitarianism is fine if one can afford it. But the morality of war is not the same thing as the morality of peacetime. The morality of war focuses on self-preservation; the morality of peace focuses on justice. And humanitarianism is misplaced when the goal is to extract information from the enemy.
