Job 3:1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

Job 3:10 Because it shut not up the doors of my [mother's] womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
Job 3:11 Why died I not from the womb? [why] did I [not] give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
Job 3:12 Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?
Job 3:13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,
Job 3:14 With kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves;
Job 3:15 Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver:
Job 3:16 Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants [which] never saw light.
Job 3:17 There the wicked cease [from] troubling; and there the weary be at rest.
Job 3:18 [There] the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.
Job 3:19 The small and great are there; and the servant [is] free from his master.
Job 3:20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter [in] soul;
Job 3:21 Which long for death, but it [cometh] not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;
Job 3:22 Which rejoice exceedingly, [and] are glad, when they can find the grave?
Job 3:23 [Why is light given] to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?
Job 3:24 For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.
Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
Job 3:26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
Job 42:1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
Job 42:2 I know that thou canst do every [thing], and [that] no thought can be withholden from thee.
Job 42:3 Who [is] he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
Job 42:4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
Job 42:6 Wherefore I abhor [myself], and repent in dust and ashes.
Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
Job 42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Job 42:14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.
Job 42:15 And in all the land were no women found [so] fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
Job 42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, [even] four generations.
Job 42:17 So Job died, [being] old and full of days.

Oh my God, you are *so* right about that! Same reason the 'euthanasia' movement is strong in Europe too!
Funny how we have to compassionate by taxing the productive to support the welfare class... but real compassion goes out the window when it comes to saving lives. Socialism is a prescription for poverty, so inevitably it will lead to the pro-death agenda.
These alive little ones are diagnosed to have a 'cruel ailment' (like cleft palate!???) so the liberal leftists societal engineering solution is to administer an even crueler strike by hiring a serial killer to off them from existence. The brave new world of liberalism is frought with serial killing and cannibalism. Ain't it just beautiful you democrat ghouls?

You'd be surprised how many babies are killed when the drs claim there is something wrong when there really isn't.
While I was pregnant with both of my babies, I refused all those tests. No way would I kill my babies, even if there was something wrong. I can't believe how angry the doctors got when I refused. They even made me sign a paper saying I had refused the tests! The tests I refused had a very high % of false positives anyways. I can't understand why they'd still use them.. The only thing I did have done was an ultrasound mid-pregnancy. If there was something wrong, the drs at least could prepare for it before the baby is born. There are surgeries that can even be done on the baby while it's still inside the womb.
I worked at an art school for the disabled for a few months. Some of the students there were grossly disfigured. I remember one in particular. She was SO funny, by the time I left I knew I was going to miss her. She had a great personality.
God puts all of us here for a reason with our limitations and disabilities, but even the disabled have gifts to share.

I did this too. It was my first and I was 39. My first doctors were pro-life and didn't pursue it. My doctor when I moved here was shocked that I refused all that. Sadly, most people believe its just routine and necessary. (and okay to abort). They've been cultivating this "quality of life" attitude for years. :(
Nothing quite says "I love baby brother" more than wishing he had never been born.
Read "Expecting Adam" (nonfiction) if you think doctors are not actively PUSHING for the parents to abort their kids.
Thank the March of Dimes for their 'march' to prevent birth defects. It was their campaign to develope better pernatal diagnosing methods.

I have been wondering if autism is caused by a mineral deficiancy at infancy. Does anyone really know what causes it?
I do not presume to judge rare, difficult cases where the child would be severely handicapped or severely retarded but the new eugenics movement is taking an unrealistic idea about "perfection" to an extreme in order to abort as many fairly normal children as possible. It seems that as medical science advances and more defects can be fixed surgically in even fetusus, they have to up the standard of "perfection" so there will be more and more excuses for an abortion. And this is usually from leftists who are horrified about genetically enhanced crops and who insist on eating only "natural" food -- they are all excited about genetically altering children for superficial reasons if not aborting them, and some would go so far as to clone untermenschen to use in medical experiments or harvest organs from.
