cannibalism That is sooo true. I read where the there will be only two dinner items to choose from at the upcoming Democrat convention--Roast Turk with apple dressing and gravy, and hot Chilian with kidney and Liman beans (for the vegetarians).

I've also always wondered how many abortions are performed for sex selection. There sure are a lot of "lucky" couples with one girl and one boy.

Where did you read someone saying that abortion is a sacrament? If you have a link to such an article, please forward. Thanks, O.C.

Delayed motherhood may be partly responsible for rising birth defects, because women over 40 have the highest risk of congenital abnormality in their babies. But you didn't hear that from me. Women today selfish? Naaa - they can have babies until they are in their 60s. And guys are just as bad -- the sperm side of the equation is just as detrimental! Tony Randall was a selfish jerk as is people who decide to have babies after the bio clock has rung. The hell with the life we are going to create -- I want to make another MEEEEEE!!!!!!

I've said it often here at FreeRepublic.com ... abortion is the sacrament of the secular humanist liberal societal engineering socialist, like the feminists and the socialist wing of the democrat political party. Secular humanism functions as a religion. The letting of innocent blood is one of the sacraments to this religion. Hadn't you noticed?

No disagreement here, I was just asking if he had a link to an article that actually quoted someone saying this abomination.

"I do not presume to judge rare, difficult cases where the child would be severely handicapped or severely retarded"
Well, I will happily presume and won't hesitate to "judge".
There are some extremely rare cases when attempting to carry a baby to term will kill the mother. At that point,if the life of the mother is threatened, abortion may be needed to save the mothers life.
We are at this abysmal place in society because almost nobody wants to "judge" anything or anyone anymore. It is so un-PC!
I make judgments every day, about myself, what I should do, and about other people and what they shouldn't do. It helps insure my survival and I'm not going to stop being judgmental, just because a disturbed portion of this society doesn't want to be "judged" and prefers anarchy to an honorable place in society.

From a Darwinism point of view, this is the true embodiment of improving the species. Ahem. If only you knew of which you speak. Reducing the genetic diversity of a population is not conducive to long-term survival of the species.

Below are two links about a book by a neo-pagan. The author of the book says that abortion is indeed a "sacrament," and quotes a pagan myth to the effect that a mother should have the power of life or death over her child, and she has the "responsibility" to do the "loving" thing which is to kill a life if it is "not pure and untainted." I have not investigated enough to find out just what a life that is "not pure and untainted" is, and I suspect it could be anything not "perfect" or politically correct (A child with a cleft palate? A male child?). I'm not able to make proper links work here for some reason so you will have to cut and paste.

They are not necessarily imperfections. If they were imperfections Nature would take its course. What we have here are designer babies, which is a completely different situation.
