Baltimore mayor fears President Bush more than al-Qaida

Mayor Martin O'Malley is more worried about President Bush's policies than he is about al-Qaida terrorists, and he's not reluctant to say so.

The Democratic mayor yesterday reiterated criticisms he made this week about Bush that have angered Republicans and some local and national talk-show hosts.

At a fund-raiser for Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign at M&T Bank Stadium on Monday, O'Malley said: "I remember after the attacks of September 11, as mayor of the city, I was very, very worried about al-Qaida and still am. But I'm even more worried about the actions and inactions of the Bush administration."

I hope that these irresponsible comments from the "boy king" will have a negative impact when he tries to run for governor of Maryland. I for one would never vote for him after comments like this.

The only people who fear President Bush more than al-Qaida are either terrorists or terrorist sympathizers.

I may have eaten my last Phillips Crab cake for a while, at least until they vote out this nut case.

Not only is liberalism a mental disorder, it seems to be contageous. The best thing to do is avoid liberals for the good of your health.

They're not that great anymore anyway.
I'm not buying Orioles tickets anymore either. Between Peter Angelos destruction of my beloved O's and this nitwit mayor, why should I spend my hard-earned money in Balto?

Liberal idiot. Apparently he's watched Farenhate 911 and drawn the wacko conclusion America's real enemy is not the one that's attacked our country. Its the one defending it. This is where Bush hatred is going, my friends. Every day it gets more extreme.

I for one would never vote for him after comments like this.

The question is, why would you have voted for him before he made those comments?

So are the demos in Philly. The passed a resolution saying they won't enforce the Patriot Act.
Apparently, al Qaeda isn't an issue.
Idiots.

Somebody please post a link to his office or a telephone number.

I'd like to contact the bum to express my displeasure.

OK....let's see him back up his comments by coming over here to Baghdad and driving around downtown. Just for one day. Let's see him do it.

Even then, he wouldn't have much in the way of credibility as far as I'm concerned.

What a weinie.

Noticed your tagline. You might add Saddam to it. His speech sounded like a preview of what we'll hear at the Democratic Convention later this month.

Baltimore is a great town but the politics suck. The whole state has to support the city. It could never survive on its own.

Phillips Crab cake

Ugh. That reminds me, 4 weeks until the family (make that 26 people in all) vacation. Just once I want to eat a cheeseburger in front of them.

I grew up in Baltimoe during the Schaffer and D'Elisandro (sp) years. Great memories of The Don, Weaver and a great town.

Duh, who voted this shallow person into office?

Liberal elitists, welfare queens, neo national socialists (otherwise known as democrats and northern republicans), gun haters, a$$holes who think the rest of us own them something because they're too lazy to work for a living, government worshiping bedwetters, etc. all of which Baltimore is full of.

The mayor can say such things because of President Bush's ability to keep him from fear of al-Q.
