Just once I want to eat a cheeseburger in front of them.

What on earth is stopping you?

D'Alisandro

Was an amoral corrupt crook of the first magnitude. His daughter otherwise known as Nancy Pelosi carries on the war against freedom today.

I'm sure he does fear Bush more than al Qaeda. You naturally don't fear your allies.

I grew up in Baltimoe during the Schaffer and D'Elisandro (sp) years.
Great memories of The Don, Weaver and a great town.

This dude sounds more like one of the crazed criminals from "Life On The Street"
(set in Baltimore, IIRC)

If they don't support Kerry it's only because he isn't leftist enough for them. Jessie Jackasson and Al Sharpton are well though of by the average Baltimoron. It isn't a coincidence that the head of the NAACP Queasy Mfume lives in Baltimore (He actually lives in a very pricy house in Catonsville, but that counts)

"Mayor Martin O'Malley is more worried about President Bush's policies than he is about al-Qaida terrorists ... "

Rightfully so. Be afraid Mr. Oh Malley, be very afraid.

>The question is, why would you have voted for him before >he made those comments?

I do not live in the city and have never had the opportunity to vote for or against him. It is expected that he will run for governor and when he does I will not vote for him. I would not vote for him whether or not he made this comment. This is just one more reason not to vote for him as far as I am concerned.

Local talk radio seems to think he is on the fast track to run for president. Mayor->Governor->President. So we need to keep an eye on this "Hatriot."

Of the 26 who go, none are from my side of the family (except my wife and daughter). My wife's side of the family considers meat in OC a serious offense of vacation rules. I love them all dearly and respect their wishes for the week I am there -- but I really would like a cheeseburger.

"Baltimore is a great town"

Try visiting the Inner Harbor with their ridiculous parking fees. Fees to Park at the Harbor has increased by 100% within the last year.

God bless you. You're a better man than I. Myself, I wouldn't consider it a vacation if I couldn't eat whatever the hell I felt like.

That's because he's mayor of Baltimore, not New York.

so soon they forget.

Democrats.

When you look at partisan voting behavior in Maryland, you see that the state is neatly divided by the portion of the megolopolis that runs the state. Pee-Gee, Montgomery, Harurd, An'Rundul, Bahlmur, and Bahlmur Ciddy. But when you look at the other 17 counties you see blue.

Here is a nice shot from USGS's "The National Atlas"

Funny - what is the standard for blue and red maps? I found maps that portrayed the parties in both colors. I believe that the Dems should be shown as red (because they are!)
