TBM, have you tried the Google Toolbar that has a popup blocker built into it?

I use it and it knocks out 95% of the popups...

Yeah Jim has to raise money to keep the website open, but I was looking online for a program to kill this spyware that is on my computer.

ad-aware and "spybot search and destroy" should do the trick. Get both.

Go to Download.com and look for spyware blockers. I use Adaware and if you like you can search within download.com or google to find similar programs. This software will search out and find spyware popup programs. Best of all it's free.

Google's popup blocker has worked, but has become less effective of late. I guess having something that can be updated frequently would be the cure.

Don't ignore the possibility that your popups might be coming from adware installed on your machine. I run AdAware, and update it at least weekly, to keep junk off my machines. Go to Tucows.com and download it, nice thing is, it's free.

Install Google Pop-Up blocker. Free. It works pretty good!

I use the following:

Norton Anti-Virus
Spybot
AdAware
Popup Stopper

Spybot & AdAware are free for personal use. You can make donations, though.

You can get ad-aware 6.0 free (just google it) and it will clear lots of spie progrqams, but you need to do it regularly.

Try Spybot Search and Destroy. It's free. Also, try using the Firefox browser by Mozilla. It has built-in pop-up blockers. Since switching to Firefox, spyware has dramatically decreased. Good luck!
