A DAY IN THE LIFE PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 7.7.05

Senatorial blockage of his judicial nominees becoming judges and justices was the focus of President Bush's day. He also attended a fundraiser; both events were in the state recently evacuated by a certain United States Senator: North Carolina. He addressed the press and took reporters' questions at Raleigh Durham Airport.

He nominated former Westinghouse executive Francis J. Harvey to become Army secretary, to replace Thomas E. White.

In the War on Terror, he named nine more Guantanamo prisoners eligible to be tried by a U.S. military tribunal, citing a 'reason to believe' they were al Qaeda members or involved in terrorism against the United States.

CNN HAS BLOCKED FREE REPUBLIC FROM VOTING. But I'll bet they haven't blocked DU ..??

HOWEVER, if you go to another website .. which would be friendly to CNN .. then it will probably allow you to vote.

That John Kerry has the charisma of a Monk

Actually, monks are very joyful men. LOTS more personality than Kerry! ;o)

Laura is just barely ahead of Terayza at 51%. CNN has Terayza's name wrong. She is NOT Teresa Heinz Kerry. She is still just Teresa Heinz!

True, our time is just around the corner, BUT, the RATS will probably have FREE air-time 24/7, while our side will only see snippets of the pubs curriculum on the tube!I heard or read somewhere the big networks were thinking about showing only a few days of the conventions. Don't know if the big wigs have made a decision on that yet, but I wouldn't doubt it if they reach their decision right after the RAT convention! Especially CBS=COMMUNIST BULLSH** station!

LOL! You're right. It didn't look that good.

Of course, I am not moved by poofy hair in the first place.

Liberace could really play the piano, but his hair looked dumb.

Was that person with the "Ignore These Fools" sign amongst some anti-Bush protestors? That is just PRICELESS!

Bush was in town today for a fund raiser; mykdsmom and I realized last night that the house was near where we live.

Soooooo this morning when we found out the exact route of the motorcade, it was even closer than we thought! My husband went out early and said that the State patrol was already on the back bridge to our neighborhood, ready to close it, so I went out looking for a good place to park and watch.

I found one and started back home, in time to notice that some SCUM had painted "This is Edwards Country" on our bridge; sooooooooooo I called DOT and told them and they came right out and painted over it!

I came home, grabbed my mom and called mykdsmom to tell her where to go; I went up to the main entrance to our subdivision and went out on the street; unfortunately, mykdsmom didn't make the "cut" and couldn't get over to where we were!

The first time he went by there were hundreds of us on the street with flags and signs. It was so great to see all kinds of people just coming out on their own to pay respect to the president!

After he passed by on his way to the luncheon -- he waved!!! -- I took my mom home because it was hot as hell, and mykdsmom and I made arrangements to meet again at 1:30 to see him go back to the airport.

mykdsmom brought a bunch of flags and some signs -- and her two precious sons -- we had one that said "Honk 4 Bush".....that got a LOT of honks! ncweaver met us up there, too!

There weren't so many people this time, but we had just as good a time! mykdsmom once again did the NC Freepers proud by getting interviewed by the local cable channel! She is our BEST speaker! (I hid!)

And back he came.....waved to us all and then left Raleigh!

It was a GOOD day to be a Bush Bot!

Your pic w/the sign of Ignore these fools logo would fit right in w/Brit Hume's end of the show funny spot. Why don't you sent it to him? I'd love to see it get more exposure and let others see "the other side of the story."
