A DAY IN THE LIFE PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 7.7.05
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov ^ | July 7 2004 | GretchenM

Posted on 07/07/2004 3:03:54 PM PDT by GretchenM

Senatorial blockage of his judicial nominees becoming judges and justices was the focus of President Bush's day. He also attended a fundraiser; both events were in the state recently evacuated by a certain United States Senator: North Carolina. He addressed the press and took reporters' questions at Raleigh Durham Airport.

He nominated former Westinghouse executive Francis J. Harvey to become Army secretary, to replace Thomas E. White.

In the War on Terror, he named nine more Guantanamo prisoners eligible to be tried by a U.S. military tribunal, citing a 'reason to believe' they were al Qaeda members or involved in terrorism against the United States.

He is looking to keep his job since that CREEP Kaplan is running the show now. Plus it might be a case of "FBI files". He has always been a little hyper, and needs to impress the boss, but if he keeps up this crap he will lose Republican viewers, and will be canceled.

**John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year. **

And the libs blame Nixon for VietNam. ;o/

It warms my little heart to think about the Vice President, a great elder statesman, a man of wit and wisdom,

debating John Edwards, the barely-Senator from North Carolina.

This is a howler, found at this site in Andrea Mitchell's report,
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5379969/

"But how good is this political match? Edwards still has to prove he can keep his ambitions in check and avoid overshadowing John Kerry."

HAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA

Bush doesn't care what a person looks like....the amount of hair, the color of their skin, their gender......He just cares about what they can contribute to make this nation great.....

Andrea's report -- the dems make it sound like debate time will result in Cheney's goose being cooked.

And from the way I read Andrea's report, she believes it.

I repeat, I can hardly wait!

Started a little project on the John's johns this afternoon. Here:http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1166918/posts?q=1&&page=61

I'm going to be heading for my dad's again...more Dr appointments...for a few days. Would appreciate any assistance any of you could give in counting Johns' johns.......(and your prayers for good reports and travel)

They're a real mark of the two America's you know.....Those who share one in a family and those that have extras.... so many they're never used......Like they are one of us...HA!

The thread explains the plan better....

Speaking of Andrea.

A couple of nights ago I happened to walk into the living room when my hubby was surfing. He hit on one station and started watching. It was a political q&a discussion and I wondered who the woman was. He told me it was Andrea.

Good lord, she's had a complete face transplant. I was amazed. Nothing left of her "real" face - new hair too!!!

I guess being married to Greenspan she had to do something to look human.

I would NEVER vote for Edwards for anything, not even dog catcher. Or street sweeper. But I will say that it impresses me that he never ditched his wife for a younger woman. Don't agree with their politics but I do find the marriage shows character [as far as I can tell].

That said always remember that Edwards is Hitlery's protege. She picked him to run for office. I think she met him at some lawyer's meeting thingee. Plus he is LIBERAL to the core, and a LAWYER. Things don't get any lower than a lawyer, especially the kind of legal work he did.

How can he be moral in his marriage [as far as I know] and immoral in his profession? It doesn't fit.

I donated to Progress for America last week. Thanks for encouraging us to do so, Deb. After seeing the opposition's ads linked at pfavoterfund's website I'm determined to give as much as I can. The mainstream media has linked arms with the Democratic Party and the radical fringe. We have to be able to counter that message!

As a matter of fact, I was thinking about that song earlier today and it does seem perfect for Edwards!

LOL! No.

The deepest water where I grew up was the Mahoning River in NE Ohio, and it had the hottest annual temp of any river in the world because of pollution from the steel mills.

If you got in it, you'd turn orange, and then die......

And then there was Lake Erie, not TOO far away, which killed fish and was too dirty to swim in during my youth.

(Which is part of the reason I'm a REAL environmentalist..........that is, like the President, and not like the wackos).

I swam mostly in mucky lakes and occasionally a pool. No scuba gear provided. :o)
