Y'know something? John Kerry said they both had better hair. My problem with that statement (besides the fact that it's irrelevant) is that John Kerry's face is so ugly, I don't even notice his hair.

July is Kerry's month due to the Veep announcement and the Dem convention.

The other night I asked the good Lord to let the dems have their big hoopla convention, yuck it up and get all gaga over their candidates, and then let our troops catch Osama alive, hopefully before the GOP convention, but absolutely before the election.

As I was praying, the Scripture came to mind about what it's going to be like for Satan when he is finally brought to judgment, and all the world will marvel and wonder, seeing how defeated he is, how weak, and saying, Is THIS the one everyone was so afraid of?

How would I find yesterday's 'dose?' I could not attend because of 4th of July commitments, but he was speaking 50 miles away from me! Is there a link?

A friend Emailed this to me. I can't verify the source but the content is surely fine.

Worst President in History?
(The following appeared in the Durham, NC local paper as a letter to the editor.)

Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war. They complain about his mismanagement of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history.

Let's clear up one point: President Bush didn't start the war on terror.

Try to remember, it was started by terrorists BEFORE 9/11.

OK, let's look at the "worst" president nominees and "mismanagement" claims.

FDR led us into World War II. We had to go into Germany to stop Hitler even though they never attacked us [although they sunk ships and killed some of their American crews and passengers], but was leading up to it, Japan did [attack us]. From 1941-1945, [approximately] 450,000 [American solders'] lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,333 per year.

John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.

Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. Clinton was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and he did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions. Over 2,900 lives were lost on 9/11.

That should be the quote of the day,and it is so true. Hell his face is so ugly, I sometimes wonder if he is turned upside down and the wrong end is showing.

Even my best friend (a liberal) ended up saying something that gave me my nickname for Kerry: Smashed-in-face Boy. She said, "His face looks like it was hit by a truck!"

Joe Scarborough called the president's answer a "cheap shot". He didn't say what would have been an appropriate answer to that totally snarky question. Scarborough is so disgusting sometimes that I wonder if NBC is writing his script--can't think of another excuse.

Laura Ingraham calls the RAT team,'Flip-flop and Mop-top'. That describes them pretty well.

Try clearing your internet browser cache before going to CNN so they can't see what site you left to get there, then try voting.

Sounds like a large number of FReepers have spammed their polls and they want less skewed results. Just a guess.

I like those names! My personal names for them are Smashed-in-face Boy and Pretty Boy but those work too :) Rhymes better than mine also.

That is a good reason to call the two Johns (before we flush them) 'Beauty and the Beast". Both their voices are very hard to listen to,one sounds like a pompous snob trying to do Shakespeare, the other sounds like a slick redneck trying to sell you an Edsel pickup truck with a bad transmission.

Hey, I've seen him in person lots more times.

'Course it was back when he owned the Texas Rangers and I was across the stadium from him. (smile)

But I brought binoculars--he was very cute (still is)
