Backup electrical systems failed to kick in

A mysterious power failure at Logan Airport that delayed dozens of flights for more than five hours has still not been explained – six days later.

Airport officials insist airline security was not compromised during the blackout Monday at Logan International's Terminal E, but backup electrical systems failed to kick in as they are programmed under such circumstances.

RIGHT. Those groups.

But I lump ALL the groups working toward global government together and the leaders of all such groups are the ones I consider the puppet masters.

INCLUDING THE UN.

My sense is that the Senate is full enough of puppet masters and their stoolies that little can be done to prevent their will in our congress even at present. I think the Impeachment was proof of this.

I read of their plans with some amount of incredulity in my library job as acting head of the univ Special Collections dept of the univ library. The years since 1965-1969 have shown me the seemingly inexorable march of their plans forward. I'd guesstimate that 85-90% of the plans I read in 1965 have already been achieved. Past tense. History. Done.

And, those plans match up extremely well with Biblical prophecies regarding Israel and what's been happening with Israel.

I STILL THINK WE MUST HAVE ENOUGH FREEPERS IN THE OFFICES OF THE CHARACTERS WHO ATTENDED THE BILDERBERGER'S MEETINGS THAT WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO KNOW WHEN XX% OF THEM ARE 'AWAY FROM THE CITY.' That COULD be a big clue to something like the ships being at sea.

I realize it would be hazardous for such people to report on such a thread as this. But they could send the information by hand carried note to friends of friends 3-5 layers out and then it could be posted on the thread.

"the warning from the Muslims in this weekend's Arabic paper from London ("leave the West..NOW") and something REALLY seems to be up"

Is there a link to this article somewhere?

You could be close to right in your thoughts.

No, I don't really think of another version.

Yes, I saw those links,,, I was just thinking that Homeland Security could issue a Broad Warning to everyone in the United States, and that a Monetary Reward might make more people pay attention. (not just us Freepers).

There used to be a 'game' at the Ohio State Fair, where Miss Citizen Fair had to be found (she was carrying the daily Citizen Journal). There were daily clues in the paper, and there was something like a $100 reward to the person that found her! Lots of People participated since there was Money Involved!

Thanks for the "Wallstreet" info. I've been off fishing all day and left this morning before the Wallstreet stuff hit the Thread. That's one of the reasons I discount the likelihood of a weekend attack, at least in NYC. If you want to hit the economy, then you need to hit Wallstreet, and if you're going to hit Wallsteet in the summertime, then look for a Tues, Wed, Thurs, hit.

I remember the Miss Citizen Fair contest, and seeing Lucy's Toyshop and Phil Donahue at the Fair. (I live in Florida now, but I'm a Columbus native.)

Somehow, though, I think it would be harder to find a terrorist than looking for Miss Citizen Fair between the WCMH Pavilion, the Midway and all the Ohio hot-buttered corn-on-the-cob stands. :-)

Yeah, I was just using that as an example. I think most people aren't very alert, and if things are really getting risky for serious attacks against our country, then perhaps offering a BOUNTY and making everyone a BOUNTY HUNTER would help....

It may take just that ONE alert person to stop a serious incident (like the border guard that stopped the terrorist planning the millenium bombing of LAX)

BRIEFCASE BOUGHT AT FLEA MARKET FILLED WITH BOMBS

(07-11-2004) - A sheriff's sergeant said that an employee at a Santee swap meet got more than he bargained for Sunday when he opened a briefcase and discovered what appeared to be homemade bombs.

Authorities said that the area was evacuated as a precaution, but the devices turned out to be inert, or unarmed, Naval training aids.

According to sheriff's Bomb/Arson Unit Sgt. Conrad Grayson, the employee opened the briefcase shortly before 1 p.m. at a flea market in the 10000 block of North Woodside Avenue.

Grayson said that when the man opened the briefcase and saw what it contained, he laid the case down and called authorities.

Sheriff's deputies closed the drive-in entrance to the meet and evacuated an area near the trash bins where the employee had opened the briefcase.

Grayson said they determined that the devices were harmless, but because they were of sophisticated construction, no further information about them would be released.

Deputies were investigating where the fake bombs came from and if they had been stolen from a military base, Grayson said.

I agree. If they can offer Iraqis $25 million for Zarqawi's head, they ought to be able to spare a few million to help us hunt down terrorists here at home.

Troopers search for underwater bombs
Saturday, July 10, 2004
BY RON MARSICO
Star-Ledger Staff
Trolling the murky channel off Bayonne yesterday, a New Jersey State Police patrol boat pulled a yellow torpedo-shaped sonar unit for the agency's latest mission: Searching for underwater explosives.

Members of the State Police diving team were poised to jump into the uninviting Port Jersey Channel's waters, but were spared when the sonar's chart signaled nothing more than the expected bulkheads and pilings along the city's former military ocean terminal.

This was just posted on a financial forum. Sorry, no links yet. If anyone doesn't like the absence of a source just skip it. I was wondering why stock futures dived about five points right about this time...

(5:56 PM PDT)

Massive explosion at oil refinery just south of St. Paul, MN. Supposedly a lightning strike. I've driven by there many times and they have lots of lightning rods. Of course it is still possible that it was a lightning strike, but it seems awfully strange -- never been one that damaged anything there before. I just went and gassed up. I expect that will directly impact our gas prices here soon.

How strange. I just searched the news and there's nothing on about the explosion. I know it happened because friends (several, in different cars) drove by it

"8,000 one-megaton warheads..."

Hey, I'm just catching up since my daughter got married yesterday.

Warheads like this are usually mounted on ICBM's and according to my notes usually range a bit bigger when you get into megatonnage. Usually 15-25 megatons. A MIRV missile will have multiple warheads, each with a distinct target preprogrammed. These are the city busters and yes there are thousands.......I would hope that GWB has broken out the Neutron weapons to avoid the hassle of radiation drift....
