I beg you to read Mrs. Swirsky's latests NewsMax.com column with the utmost serious attention. Why isn't the information being widely publicized concerning the existence of 20 suitcase nuke bombs set and ready to be exploded any day now, in 20 American cities? Is this "John-John" team the one we want to deal with this horrific threat to America?

I agree. I have a hard time believing that UBL (who's probably dead anyway) has 20 suitcase nukes (another article on Newsmax said six, but who's really counting?), while Iran is feverishly trying to develop their own bomb. The reason Iran wants the bomb is so they can drop it on Israel at the earliest possible moment. Why doesn't Iran simply buy a suitcase nuke from al-Qaeda? The whole notion is ridiculous.
The answer to the poster's questiond, "Why isn't the information widely publicized?", is probably, "Because it's not true."

Some months ago, a freeper stated that the trigger on these devices had a shelf life of 60 days.
Any comments? Sub critical mass nukes need a trigger of a very hot isotope with a very short half life. Certainly any 'suitcase nukes' that disappeared at the fall of the Soviet Union would no longer be operational.

What REALLY happened is that the Islamolunatics shipped 20 suitcase nukes to the US but the airlines kept losing their luggage, so they have been rediced to attending lost luggage auctions, trying to find them...
