I always give the same advice to prospective new husbands:
1) Always treat the wife the same way you did when you first met her.

3) Enjoy your couch time. Make popcorn, drink beer, and watch guy movies until the late hours of the morning until you get forgiven. /sarcasm
4) Sleep all you can before you have children, because you wont sleep much after
5) Always remember the fact this woman loves you enough to have your children and live with you, and that deserves the deepest respect a man has.

Major cities on the west coast are also full of old tunnels. Some are tourist attractions now. Goes back to the old days of kidnapping drunks to work on the ships, so I've read. Who knows how many networks of tunnels are under cities that are not on the tourist tours. I know of a few smaller cities in western states that also have networks of old tunnels that are quite a bit inland. Not sure what they were originally for but I know they were not in mining areas.
I don't think anyone is telling you not to post a joke, it just looked wierd coming out of the blue like that. No big deal, I appreciated it. Although, with the number of ladies on the thread, the language might be a little much. That's OK, I've been known to slip a few times. LOL

I remember seeing a television news special about this. I guess Portland was one of the worst cities for this. One bar had a trap door under a bar chair. One yank on the door, and you were shanghaied. Lots of people went missing during the late 1800's and early 1900's. Most people don't know that there is a whole city under the city.
With no profiling, bad security checks, travel by foreigners without proper visas and lackadaisical investigations by the FBI and Homeland Security, flying is AT OUR OWN RISK. Errors, like missing the expiration dates of the Visas, should result in terminated employees as it involves our national security. There should be NO EXCUSE for blunders that permit terrorists to go on their way until they kill Americans. Each such episode maligns the integrity of the agencies assigned to protect us.
