Isn't it interesting that Schwarzenegger is being attacked for saying this by the same people who defended Whoopi Goldberg's comments last week?
OK, her comments were only disgusting, while Schwarzenegger's comments were...no, not homophobic... funny.
In fact, in Hans & Franz, "girlie men" didn't refer to gays (did it?) ... so why does it refer to them now?

"Girlie men" is used jocularly to refer to any one who is not buff and muscular. By that standard, Bush is a girly man. It's not meant to be serious.
Being professional victims, these retards always need to find more victimizers, real or imagined.
The girly men seriously need to get a life. They remind me of those dancers at the end of "Blazing Saddles."
And the same people whining have no problem with Bush being called a Hitler, conservatives being "digital brownshirts", etc., etc.

They are on the news acting as if this is the greatest crime ever to say "girly man".

The "Girlie Men" really are the dancers from "Blazing Saddles". About 1/4 of the CA legislature is sexually disoriented. Not to mention politically disoriented or disinterested.
Seems these same politicians had not trouble accusing (not making a joke, but openly accusing) ARNOLD of sexually harrasing some females by patting them on the butt (of course, this also occurred about 10 years ago and had nothing to do with his current employment.
This Californian thinks it's hilarious. I don't agree with everything Arnold is doing, but what a heckuva ride this is turning out to be. He's the most FUN governor any state could have. Most everybody (at least, us little people) loves him out here.
Excellent. Those who are outraged by the sobriquet; "Girlie-Men", are reacting to the sting of truth. California legislators really don't care about their constituents as much as they do the special interest organizations that put them in the State House. The Gay and Lesbian Front's, the prison guard unions, the public employee unions, the environmentalists, etc. The legislators are in the same spot that Gray Davis was a year ago. They are ripe to be tossed out.
