A few minutes ago I posted here about Linda Ronstadt. No swearing, no personal insults. Other posters here viciously attacked and insulted Ronstadt, their posts remain. My post got deleted within minutes. Are you guys really that scared? I believe in free speech and the exchange of opinions, obviously you don't. Mr Robinson, answer me: on what basis was my post deleted? I almost feel compelled to post on various other websites how I doubled up laughing about the cowardice on display here. Again, show me your courage please, cheers from the Leftist Dutchman!
The Crusades were a response to an Islamic invasion of Europe too so what's your point? What have they done that is worthwhile to humanity since?

Commonly believed myth, like the "everyone thought the world was flat" myth. Totally untrue, of course.
While some areas of the Islamic subjugated hegemony did permit non-muslim culture to flourish (notably Spain) in spite of Korannic proscriptions, for the most part Islam merely used the existing knowledge without expanding it at all.
Meanwhile, Europe not only preserved previous Western culture, but evolved and expanded on it. The "Dark Ages" weren't dark; that is a Victorian era worldview that has not held up.
Thus, Europe had the Renaissance, while Mecca's adherents remained mired in the tenth century.

Put simply: the fact that the USA executed a preventive war against Iraq based on false accusations implies that any given country can invade any other given country on injust grounds. That opens up all kinds of weird possibilities. If India and Pakistan will have a nuclear stand-off in the future they can just get away with saying that they followed the example set by the US.
What I find funny: there have been numerous replies stating that I am brainwashed by certain sources. Ha. And another Ha. If I state that Cheney is by all definitions a war profiteer, than please refute this with factual observations. Do so with my other statements too.

Shortly after Arnold announced that he was running, the hatred of Arnold by the left wing maggots in N. California exceeded their hatred of GW. Whenever, left wing maggot hate someone as much GW or Arnold, we conservatives need to support that candidate.
Besides hating Arnold, they are truly scared of him. There has been an explosion of left wing teachers, asst. principals, principals and supertendents taking early retirement due to Arnold. They know their gravy days are over. The do nothing rat drones getting a big pay check from the state are in terminal fear of losing their jobs.
The phoney lib non profits are getting our tax $'s removed from their coffers, and they are operating in full panic.
When Arnold was on his trip out of country, there were tons of articles of how Arnold had lost it and lied to us because the libs played games and didn't approve his budget.
Well, he took them on with the Girly Men talk. The tape of that speech is so funny, I have to pull my suv over to the side of the road when they play the tape to keep from wrecking it from laughing so hard.
I expect that his budget will be approved around the end of this month. The last thing the DNC and the Komrade Kerrorist Kamp followers want is Arnold going after the Girly rats during this election. That could give GW the state of California on Arnold's big coattails.

Patently false. Iraq was firing on US and British warplanes throughout the 90's. That was justification enough, given the cease fire agreements ratified by the UN, to go to war with them then. In fact Pres. Sick Willy did unilaterally bomb some useless civilian targets in Baghdad. No outcry from the International Community that that was reckless or unauthorized. Why the hypocrisy?
A week ago if/when most people thought of her at all, they thought - good voice, etc. But times change, fans drift away.
Now she has managed to piss off a whole bunch of people without the protection of her fan base - they're gone, have been for years. Leaving anger, thoughts of revenge etc. as the only emotion she can generate.
Some of these "stars" should think about that before they run their mouths. For them there are only three kinds of people out there - the POed, the indifferent and a few diehards in denial. The intensity resides with the POed.
