Prayer Request For Healing

I could use some prayers from my fellow FR Prayer Warriors. A little over a year ago, I had dislocated my knee cap. The doctor said if it happened again, they would have to go in and anchor it down. Well, yesterday it completely blew out. Just as I was standing up, my knee just "went" and my knee cap ended up on the outside of my leg. It stayed like that for 3 hours. I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance and it took the ER doctor 3 attempts of trying to jam it back into place to get it back into the front of my leg. I am resigned to the fact that I will need surgery. But this time there looks to be a lot more damage then the first time. I will be going to an orthopedic surgeon next week and I would like prayers that I haven't done any major damage to any of my major ligaments. Also for easing of the pain (pain meds do not work on me at all) and swelling and pressure to subside quickly. Thank you!!! And God Bless!

codyjacksmom, My prayers going up now. I know your pain!! I have had 3 knee surgeries. It won't be 100% after the surgery. You will probably always have a week knee after this. But at least it shouldn't just snap out any more. I was told each surgery will last about 10 years. So far mine have only made it to 7 years before it had to be done again. Also, make sure to not over use the other knee! I did that and had to have surgery on that one now too. Take care! I will pray!! Starting right now!!

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that so many of Codyjacksmom's FRiends have offered their prayers and their suggestions ... may it be, Merciful Father, as we have prayed ... that Your healing hand would replace her need for surgery. Let the damage be truly slight, that her injury would respond to therapy and rest. Give the greatest wisdom to the surgeon that she will see ... lead both patient and physician in the way that You would have them go.
