Thanks for posting this, TGYC. As far as I'm concerned, I don't need to no anymore about Kerry than what is contained in this thread. The subsequent facts that he coddled dictators in Nicaragua, worked for a nuclear freeze in the 80's, put a halt to POW/MIA investigations to open up commercial relations with Hanoi, never met a weapon system that he could vote for and is a total putz are really just icing on the case as far as I'm concerned.

TERRIFIC POST!!! The audio clip is unbelievable. First of all, some of things he lists as having done are not war crimes, but for the most part he didn't even do half the things he claims he did, so he is a liar on two counts.

It is stunning the way the Democrats keep nominating congenital liars to run for president. It's even more stunning that when they find out they are liars they don't care.

Kerry won a bronze star for killing a wounded Viet Cong. If the Viet Cong was not armed at the time, or was not presenting a threat then he did in fact commit a war crime. Why didn't he confess to that one when he was grandstanding with his confession? The guy is a degenerate.

Never mind that at wintersoldier you can read a book he co-authored called - The New Soldier. Let's just say everything you heard about militants in the 60s was wrapped up in John Kerry. I mean, he supposedly sat in on a meeting where these goofballs openly discussed assassinating a sitting US Senator, and apparently Kerry just kept that to himself (or maybe joined in the discussion - no one really knows).

As for the convention, I get the sense that the leftwing 'mainstream' want to take the Dem convention management out of the hands of the remaining 60s militant types that still run the Dem Party in 2004. I think they're going to provide a lot more than just 3 hours coverage for the Dem. But it's all going to be by way of their own news shows, packages, specials, and so on - where they have complete control of the production, and the message, and obviously, the spin. They will attempt to produce an instant myth. What do they need a convention for, right?
