First, She laments about the state of negative politics and calls it un-American
Then she denies that she said the word un-American
Finally she resorts to un-American behavior by telling a reporter asking a simple question to "shove it".
Sounds like the hat-trick of flip-flops to me, especially since it all occurred at one event.
Did she actually use the phrase "un american" or no?
She absolutely used the phrase "un-American". The press seems to not focus on that, so that they can just say "she's fiesty".
"We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics."
She said it. Rush played the audio.
The Woman has a screw loose! Are you sure these "traitor" insane Democrats are not just a bad dream!
ANd the reporter that asked her to clarify the word was VERY polite in my opinion. He simply asked her what she ment by the term. SHe could have B.S.ed aher way out of it " Un American not allowing freedom of speech, blah, blah, whatever" but she CHOSE to lie and attack.
Well,
It seems the waffle married a waffle.
the press needs to start asking if she intends to apologize for lying to a reporter, just like they pestered bush about apologizing for the prison scandal.
Heinz Kerry attended a Massachusetts Statehouse reception Sunday night for fellow Pennsylvanians, telling them, "We need to turn back some of the creeping, un-Pennsylvanian and sometimes un-American traits that are coming into some of our politics." She criticized the tenor of modern political campaigns without being specific.
Minutes later, the Tribune-Review's Colin McNickle questioned Heinz Kerry on what she meant by the term "un-American," according to a tape of the encounter recorded by Pittsburgh television station WTAE.
Heinz Kerry said "I didn't say that" several times to McNickle. She then turned to confer with Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell and others. When she faced McNickle again a short time later, he continued to question her, and she replied: "You said something I didn't say. Now shove it."
END OF SNI[T]
What's the deal with Teresa's children? They are the spawn of a Republican father. Were they raised with no principles? How can they now be politically supportive of their stepfather who is a foaming-at-the-mouth liberal?
Flipper and Flopper... what a couple!
The AP report even spins it to seem as if she turned around to talk to someone else and then turned back to the reporter
When you see the video, she is actually across the room several minutes after her initial "I didn't say what you just heard me say" remarks. She then pushes her wayt thru the crowd to get back to the reported so she can find out what paper he is from and then to tell him to shove it.
Very freakish behavior from someone so close to a man who wants to have his finger on our nuclear arsenal.
No doubt about it, the tape is being played on the news, and she says "unpennsylvanian and even unamerican".
I smell something fishy with flopper...
Sharp only at the inglorious point of Tongue.
Philocles
She can lie with the best of the dumb-o-crats.
