Blessings and enjoy the trip. Airport security has come lightyears since just a couple years ago. I feel much safer on the planes in America now.
But they still have a nail clipper fetish.
Last time I went through they saw my Middle-Eastern visas and I got pulled out of the line for a serious search. They may not racialy profile, but they sure ME profile. Their wands were so sensitive it found a tiny bit of foil gum wrapper in a back pocket that survived the washer about a dozen times. There was not enough metal in it to plug a filling.
Makes for much safer flying...

I doubt you'll need prayers but if they help OK.
Oh and I think you two will handle any terrorists as well as possible. Don't get squishy and release the choke hold just because they gurgle and blood drips from their eyes.
=o)
stay safe.

For airline travel in recent times,
its helpful to have a good sense of humor,
and a poor sense of smell.
Happy Trails.

I recommend reading Psalm 91 (my most favorite) several times before.
If this does not work, you are beyond help... lol!

I pray that the air marshall's assigned to your flight are not politically correct and are excellent shots, in case, what you termed,"the stupid wanding" process and shoe removal is circumvented by you know who.

I recommend reading Psalm 91 Actually I will avoid saying Psalm 91, since it is usually recited at funerals.
Now, I have to finish packing.

I'm more concerned about you flying NW than any danger from some Islamokazi.
Prayers!

You have a nice trip out to & returning from, Los Angeles.
I expect my favorite Jewish mom back here with all the vim & vigor I'm accustomed to seeing from her. :^)

I had to make 3 emergency flights to Oregon in the past 1 1/2 months via Southwest. All the trips were just fine. Just before one landing in Tampa, the pilot announced that "the safest part of our trip was completed."
The Southwest crews are just great and I never mind the security checks. Always give the checkers a big "thank you." Prayers for your trip
To: Alouette
HaShem be with you and your son.
It's a bit late for this now, but here's some recommended reading for your next flight.
