Attention all Jacksonville/northeast Florida FReepers:

The ambulance chaser and DemocRAT VP nominee John Edwards is coming to Jacksonville Monday evening August 2.

He will speak at the anti-Bush Southern Christian? Leadership Conference at the Southbank JAX Hilton. His speech is scheduled for 6:45 PM.

Let's FReep him in front of the Hilton! TELL THEM WE WON'T STAND FOR A TRAITOR FOR PRESIDENT!

I will go there right after work, around 5:00 - 5:30 PM. We need as many folks as we can get! Come and bring a friend and we'll have a BLAST!

Bring anti-Kerry Edwards posters. I have 3 anti-Kerry boards made and this afternoon I bought 4 blanks and will make them anti-Kerry/Edwards. If you want to make your own, get foam board (Wal-Mart $1.97), they are firm (like our President!), and won't bend! Use BIG markers, black & red show well.

Let me clarify that FReep should be more anti-Kerry/Edwards, than pro-Bush. BUSH signs are NOT really what we want to show, because it will give them the opportunity to dismiss us as just Bush supporters. The folks at this SCLC meeting are all anit-Bush anyway. We need to expose the fact that Kerry does NOT respresent the rank in file Democrats, that their interest WAS HIJACKED by Kerry's BIG MONEY backers.

We need to emphasize with our signs that Keery/Edwards does NOT represent the Democrat rank and file members. Their candidate is Howard Dean! Kerry/Edwards HIJACKED the Democrat party. The PLATFORM is a SHAM.

Wow. I checked out their web site for the convention. This is an ugly bunch. Their "honorary" chair woman is Corrine Brown and the theme of the convention is "Truth and Justice" built on a foundation of lies- that voters in Jacksonville were "disenfranchised" a new word for being too stupid to figure out that you can only vote for one candidate for president...

Jacksonville had two pages of presidetial candidates, and many spoiled ballots were discarded. This happened to my best friend's son, voting in his first election- it is not a white/black issue, but they are making it one.

I will try to attend, and will spend Monday thinking of some tie in to Corrine's famous Lexus, her rant before Congress and the inability of the combined efforts of the US Civil Rights Commission,(led by Mugabe Berry herself) the NAACP and the DNC to produce even one credible plaintiff with a charge of deliberate (rather than self inflicted) disenfranchisement.

Maybe something about the military vote...

A few thoughts about signs.

7 words or fewer.

Do not waste time appealing to any issue where we already have people on our side, i.e. abortion. The pro-life people are already on our side. Go for the middle of the road, undecideds, and weak dems.

Go for emotion rather than issues requiring deep thought:

"Kerry voted to SACRIFICE our troops"

"Kerry and Teddy Kennedy: Way too liberal"

Ask Corinne about the vacation trip she took to Africa, paid for by "supporters" (drug dealers like the one that gave her the Lexus for getting Janet Reno to spring him from jail so he could flee back to Africa) that she "forgot" to tell the House Ethics Committee about.

Obama was running late, and a guy pulled up in a car and started putting out Obama signs. Large black man, handsome, well-dressed, driving a large Caddy.

His car's plate said AGAPE.

I just about threw up.

She is actually a member of the democtatic socialists party. I hate the use of the name of Christ for a group that promotes abortion as staunchly as this group does...they are meeting to elect a new leader.
