Are they going to finally insist Kerry release ALL his personal medical records? Teresa perfectly described Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - wakes up screaming - more than 30 years later. Is he under treatment now? Was he under treatment then? Don't we have a right to KNOW????? Hmmm?

Are they going to hammer Teresa over her tax records?

Pleased they're looking into this but there's a lot being swept under the rug.

For those unfamiliar with the claims being made, I was listening on the radio to one of the other men on the boats that day - the gunner's mate, I forget his name - and he said that Kerry started high-tailing it out of the area during the mission despite the fact there was no enemy fire. I believe he said that Kerry's boat was the only one that ran off like that. One of the sailors lost his footing and fell off the boat. To his credit, Kerry turned around and came back and picked the guy up - apparently he isn't a complete coward - but there was another boat right there to pick up Rassman or whatever his name is if Kerry hadn't got him, and the other boats also picked up three other guys who also were in the drink. For this, Kerry applied for and received his medal. Nobody else at all applied for a medal.

If that's worth a medal, the guys back at the base peeling potatoes and cleaning the latrines each deserve something, too. Give 'em all medals.

According to two friends at network, not just Rassman but a total of 4 men went into the water that day. Kerry saved Rassman, another boat saved another soldier and a third boat pulled two people to safety!

According to one Swift Vet, I believe his name is Van Odell, Rassman fell off the back of the boat when Kerry gunned the engine. Rassman was eating a cookie at the time. Odell says he knows the boats were not under fire because he was a gunner on one of the other boats and was not firing his guns. Neither were any of the other gunners nearby. And none of the swift boats were damaged.

If this is true it appears Rassman has painted himself into a corner and can't really come clean lest his credibility be completely destroyed. Eating a cookie and falling off a boat? Hmmm. Why would anyone be eating a cookie while under enemy fire?

BTY, Odell's statement regarding this is a sworn affadavit. Rassman's and Kerry's, or any statements by members' of his "Band of Brothers", are not.

I saw one Swift Boat Vet, I think his name was Van O'Dell, on Hannity. He seems to be more upset that Kerry proclaimed that HE ALONE went back to save fellow vets. Kerry has dissed all others there that day becasue he said they all ran away but he came back to help Rassman. O'Dell said that there were other boats that went back for other soldiers. O'Dell was on a boat that pulled a guy out of the water.
