He always pointed with pride that it was his effort as Mayor of Paterson to make Joe Clark a principal, resulting in Clark becoming a national figure for discipline and basics in education. I am sorry to see this story. >>

Then he lied to you, Sen. Frank Graves was Mayor when Joe Clark was Principal.  You know how Paterson Mayor Pascrell became a Congressman?  He walked into a room filled with black leaders of Paterson and said, "You want your first black mayor" meaning councilman Martin Barnes who ran for mayor in the past, "then make sure I get elected to congress", Congressman Bill Martini won every town in his district except for the very populated democrat town of Paterson which pushed Pascrell over the edge.

Published on March 14, 1989, Press of Atlantic City, The (NJ) NEWS BRIEFS, 400 students walk out, back Clark, PATERSON - About 400 Eastside High School students walked out of their building Monday and marched downtown to the Board of Education office in an apparent show of support for suspended school principal Joe Clark. The students left the school building around 9:30 a.m. and eventually took control of a meeting room in the Board of Education building, said Paterson Mayor Frank Graves. The students were escorted back to school by police about and hour later.

Published on July 9, 1989, Press of Atlantic City, The (NJ) JOE CLARK TO GIVE UP BAT AND BULLHORN
Principal Joe Clark said Saturday that his steel-fisted reign over the inner-city high school he ran for eight years apparently is over, thanks to a City Council of "transvestites" and "vermin. "Clark, who was released Saturday from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center following heart surgery six weeks ago, said his biggest accomplishment was showing that "black and Hispanic students in the inner city can behave." "Educating them is another story," he said.

In 1990, his work for a better Paterson culminated in his election as Mayor. He became Mayor in 1991, The Movie "Lean on Me" was already OUT by the time Pascrell was elected Mayor

I would stay FAR away from Fordham

Lavender Law 2003 at Fordham University click link

-  Pro-abortion politicians serving as college officials and faculty, including Carol Moseley Braun teaching management at DePaul University, Geraldine Ferraro on the Fordham University law school Board of Visitors and teaching public policy at Georgetown University, and Leon Panetta teaching political science and on the Board of Trustees and law school Board of Visitors at Santa Clara University.

WOMEN'S ORDINATION ADVOCATE AT GONZAGA

On March 25, a vocal advocate for women's ordination delivered the annual Flannery Lecture at Gonzaga University (WA), sponsored by the Religious Studies Department.  Sr. Elizabeth Johnson, CSJ, is a theology professor at Fordham University (NY).

In 1996, as president of the Catholic Theological Society of America, Johnson convened a commission to "study" the issue of women's ordination following Pope John Paul II's declaration that the all-male priesthood could not be changed.  The commission's final report, in the words of Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver, "raise[d] questions about the authority of this teaching.  ...For members of the CTSA to revisit this teaching at such a late date, when so many other urgent issues face the Church, is more than just disappointing.  It will not solve the vocations problem.  It creates unnecessary and belated confusion.  And it raises questions about the CTSA's continuing usefulness for the life of the Church."

In a 1996 article in Commonweal, Johnson rebutted the Holy Father's arguments against women's ordination, claiming "Jesus never ordained anyone" and the sacrament of holy orders is equivalent to other Church
traditions that have changed over time.

This stuff just never ends. I go to law school at Fordham University (A Jesuit school) and lately a petition has been going around campus. Some gay pride group on campus, whose name I haven't paused to learn, is considering suing Rumsfeld for upholding the law that forces all law schools to accept military recruiters on their campuses. The group claims that the military's policy against open homosexuality violates the University's anti-discrimination policy.

Lesbian judge makes history

The first openly lesbian federal judge, Deborah Batts was confirmed to a Manhattan bench in 1994. A graduate of Radcliffe and Harvard Law School, Batts earned her credentials through hard work. A native Philadelphian, Batts clerked for a federal judge before joining Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where she worked as a litigator for six years. Next, she served as an assistant U.S. attorney in New York for five years before accepting a teaching post at Fordham University in 1994, where she taught property and family law.

For example, this summer Fordham University in New York allowed Hollywood filmmakers and actor Liam Neeson on campus to shoot part of a movie that whitewashes the discredited Kinsey--a homo/bisexual who advocated sexual anarchy, falsified the sex data he collected, and did "child sex studies" by having a team of child molesters rape and sodomize as many as 2,035 children and babies (see Dr. Judith Reisman's Kinsey: Crimes & Consequences ).

It's no wonder that on October 17-19, 2003, Fordham's Law School hosted "Lavender Law," a national meeting of the National Lesbian and Gay Law association and the National Lesbian and Gay Law Foundation, to discuss sodomy laws, homosexual "marriage," homosexual "rights" in academia, etc. Scheduled speakers included Fordham Law School assistant dean Tom Schoenherr and Fordham law professor Sonia Katyal.
