Yet another Kerry action that will blow up in their faces. This puts all the Dem 527s into play as well - and the connections between the Kerry campaign and those groups are quite clear there.

I don't think I've ever seen a more thorough job of political self-immolation in my life. And they're just getting started.

There is no chance of this "working." It is the most moronic move so far by a moronic candidate. I think what they're REALLY scared of is the second ad, the "Vietnam atrocities" recited in his own words as POWs comment. That cooks Kerry's goose but good.

Best possible news for us and total insanity for the dims. The more they try to censor the book the more attention they draw to it. Folks that would ordinarily have no knowledge of it will demand to read it to see what all the fuss is about. My daddy told me one time, "The more you stir up $hit the bigger stink you make, If you just leave it alone it will dry up and go away" Dims sure must like stirring

First lawyers to hit TV stations.
Then private investigators to dig up dirt on the Swifty's.
Now an FCC complaint.

Why won't the Kerry campaign just release all his military records?

I just double posted about this. It looks like the complaint is going to the FEC, not the FCC.

It's requesting that the ads be banned and that there was "illegal cooperation between the Swift Boat Vets, the RNC, and the Bush Cheney campaign."

It looks like the demonrats have pulled a page out of the Clinton playbook - "the best defense is a good offense."

This also gives their allies in the media the benefit of being able to ignore the original charges in the Swifties ads, and Kerry's attempts to weasel out of those charges...but create a whole new Watergate for the new millenium story: "Did the Bush/Cheney Campaign violate election rules?"

Seriously, the fact that Kerry is even trying to censor political speech is a major red flag

Here in Wisconsin, Senator Russ Feingold has successfully prevented Right to Life from mentioning his name in their ads about the upcoming Senatorial election. They're supposed to say something like, make your vote for Senator count as a vote for life. Or, maybe they're not even allowed to say that! They certainly cannot use his name, and he has repeatedly voted to approve partial birth abortion up until the 9th month!

Just wait if the election is close and the referendum for Colorado to divvy up their electoral votes VIA congressional districts goes through.. then we are really going to be through the looking glass!

The fact that he would silence his critics alone makes him unfit for command, regardless of what they have to say.

Even if VETS were allowed to speak, in Kerry's mind, POWs would never (they're obviously biased, after all, having to listen to him all that time they were being tortured with wires attached to their genitals and all they endured)
