I would be very interested to know how the North Vietnamese and Chicoms pronounce Gengis Khan.

Another thing that was sickening was his appearance on Tim Russert's show, in which Russert played the footage of him making those accusations. Russert then asked Kerry his thoughts on what he had said, to which Kerry replied: "My main concern is where all of that dark hair went.".

He's making jokes, after calling his "band of brothers" butchers.

Re: Kerry's status

He was both. He started out his anti-war protests while still on active duty. He even writes of taking unauthorized leave to go to a rally.

He was then transferred to the Active Reserves from 1970-72. This period is when he was testifying to Congress and doing more of his anti-war protesting. In 1972 he was transferred to the Standby Reserves, where he stayed to the end of his obligation in 1978.

Well kept secret by the Kerry campaign - he was supposeed to be attending drills as an Active Reservist from 1970-72. Their blogs and the commentary of the supporting media is that he was out of the Navy 70-72. Wrong! He signed a contract that after his active duty stint he would serve as a drilling Reservist. As such he was somewhatconstricted on his anti-chain of command demonstrations. Because of his high level friends in Congress (Fulbright, et al) the Navy wasn't going to touch him,

Hope that answers your question.

Big Ditto! Kerry's new Ad denouncing Bush for his "so called support" or failure to condemn the Swifties, is disgusting. I vote for a REPRINT of Kerry's Book, The New Soldier! Looks like his voting record in the Senate regarding the military supports his old views. Evil.

That information is incorrect. The SBV meticulously went through the paperwork he released. He was in the Naval Reserves (Inactive) while collaberating with the North Vietnamese.

There is no way that I will ever forgive him. To many men died because he lied. He's still lying to this very day. My late husband was mistreated because of this pompous ass. God will forgive him, Not me.

"What was K's status when he testified before Congress, went to Paris, etc??."

Navy Reserve (Inactive). He was still subject to the UCMJ.

re : your paragraph
General Vo Nguyen Gaip , the Commanding officer of the North Vietnamese Military ...... But because of the Anti-War movement in America (led by John Kerry and his lies) they felt that the Demonstrations “gave us confidence that we should hold on in the face of battlefield reverses.

According to Unfit for Command, Kerry did more than encourage the North Vietnamese, He met with them in Paris in May of 1970. Page 126.

GW's legacy so far: At least 50,000,000 LIBERATED

Kerry's legacy so far: At least 5,000,000 MURDERED

The country couldn't have a clearer choice...

A great campaign commercial.

GREAT LETTER!!!!!

You might add that congress found that many of the veterans that kerry spoke for had not been in the military or been in NAM.

He did not say continuously - but referred to 'frequent' - don't remember exactly how he phrased it.

Maryanne Marsh - remember the name. So who is this bitch?

http://www.wheatoncollege.edu/News/pr20000411a.html

During the 1996 election, Marsh served as the GOTV director for the Massachusetts Democratic Party, which resulted in the defeat of two Republican Congressmen, the re-election of United States Senator John F. Kerry, and the largest plurality for President Clinton in the country. During the 1994 election cycle, her clients included United States Senator Edward M. Kennedy and every Democratic member of the House of Representatives. In addition, Marsh directed Victory [OE]92 for the Democratic Party, managing 212 races overall and succeeding for the first time in history to re-elect every Democratic state senator and representative as well as win nine Republican legislative seats. Marsh has worked for a number of Democratic elected officials in policy and campaign positions as well, including Senator Kennedy during his campaign for president, Governor Michael S. Dukakis and Joseph P. Kennedy, II of Citizens Energy Corporation.

As a "Democratic Strategist" I hope she is held accountable fot her comment that GW Bush "betrayed this country when he didn't fight in Viet Nam"

I may have to rethink my personal limitations on striking women.

That is not the first time I'd heard that Kerry's words were used to torture our POWs. As a matter of fact, I swear I read somewhere that when John McCain was a POW, he remembered hearing Kerry's words.

It looked like Colmes was visibly shaken by this man's story. He is an honest and honorable hero who has to be respected. No man's conscious can condone what Kerry did to this man. Colmes does appreciate the soldiers, even if he is a lefty and the question marks are showing in his face??

Pray for W and Our Troops

I have a question. Kerry was in Nam, W was in the Nat'l Guard. That dim senator called Cheney a coward for not going to Nam. What has he called Edwards?
