Simple solution. Precede the buses with a few Abrams tanks and Bradley vehicles.

This isn't "protest", this is terrorism.

Post armed guards on the buses, and permit the bus drivers to ride over the disrupters. After a few are squished, the rest will get the lesson.

They should have had the convention in Fairbanks Alaska.

That should be easy to handle. Have the paddy wagons ready and lock 'em all up.

This is the liberal idea of 'democracy' - mob rule. Subvert the process if your point of view isn't universally embraced. I hope the cops have to resort to extreme measures on a massive scale to put these vermin in their place. Hell, I hope the bus drivers just hit the gas if they see a pack of these animals trying to storm the bus - plow right through them.

NYC doesn't have a police force - its more like a small army. they will control this.

I'd rather like to see Yankee Stadium turned into a holding pen for the arraignment of these scum. A little stint at Rykers wouldn't hurt em either.

"try to get near police and dogs, loiter as long as possible around the dog, try to pet it if possible."
I had a working Police K-9 for 6 1/2 years. When the dog was "working" it would not allow individuals close enough to pet it. If somone tried to pet it they would draw back a nub.

The pubs should have NEVER chosen that FREAK city for their convention....:( They went willingly to the lion's den! As sheep to slaughter...so sad! Pray for our President's and pubs safety there!

At this point I can't think of anything the dims can do that isn't going to hurt their cause. Other than shutting up and going home, that is - and that goes for Kerry, too.

It's a bit misleading to say that the subways run directly under the site. They run directly under 7th and 8th Avenues, not Madison Square Garden itself.
Part of Penn Station is directly under MSG, but that's not a subway. I think the New Jersey Transit tracks are closer to MSG than the LIRR. And New Jersey Transit's service will be curtailed this week. A lot of trains are being diverted to Hoboken instead of Penn Station.

The Democrats spend so much time blocking buses, having spies on the convention floor, taking over web sites, organizing a "shout out" (or whatever Frankan is calling for." They can't debate the issues. It is always these stunts that they think are so clever. Who has the time and money to be involved in all this nonsense?
