Monday evening there was an argument between Franken and a producer for the Laura Ingraham show regarding whether he had agreed to be on her program, The producer called Franken "a liar," evidentally because Franken (in his opinion) reneged on a promise to appearh on the Ingraham show. Franken called him "an asshole," then tempers flared, and push came to shove. Eventually Ingraham called for security. There are more pictures of the incident coming tomorrow. DKK

Perhaps its wishful thinking, but I almost see the Democrat party going the ways of the Whigs.

Someone should force Franken to stare at a solar eclipse once - those telescopes in front of his eyes would fry the back of his skull (since the light wouldn't hit any brain cells).

-Kerry is sinking in the polls like a lead swift boat.
-The RNC convention speakers are dropping JDAMs on Democrat positions, and they're doing massive damage.
-The SETI program is beaming Err America into space, hoping to find someone, anyone, who will listen.
-Al Franken himself is like watered down version of Michael Moore. He's a joke who takes himself too seriously, yet lacks any entertainment value.
Why do decent people like Laura Ingraham ask assholes like Franken to apppear on their shows?
They deserve to get hassled when they do stupid things like that.
Whatever happened in that heckler matter? I heard he was getting sued, but then I suppose the charge was dropped or settled out of court.

I did not body-slam a protestor at a Dean rally in Manchester as Vincent Morris wrote ("Al Franken Knocks Down Dean Heckler,"; Jan. 27). Mr. Morris made no attempt to reach me before publishing his story. His description, "Franken emerged from the crowd and charged one male protester, grabbing him with a bear hug from behind and slamming him onto the floor," is a complete fairy tale.
