President Bush KNEW immediately that it was bin laden. As soon as I saw the first plane hit the Tower, I blurted out "bin laden". Air traffic WAS grounded (by the FAA) after the first plane hit the Tower. Congress and the White House were evacuated. If you read the specifics of the Pentagon attack, you would already know that there was absolutely no time to evacuate.
Here is something to think about... remember what Vice President Dick Cheney said to Senator leaky leahy recently, while on the floor of the Senate? Well... in your face with the exact sentiment!
