Definately follow the url for the raw numbers. I've never seen such effort go into justifying (rationalizing?) this result. http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/09-04-2004/0002244238&EDATE=

It's only going to get better as what happened in Russia sinks in. Bad for the poor Russian women and children involved, but good for the election. The carnage uncontrovertibly reinforces W's convention theme.

There's your winner in November. The race may be tighten a point or two but it won't change dramatically in the time remaining between now and November.

Y'all remember, NewsWEAK and TIME polls are by left wing liberal media organizations. I suggest to take these nice leads with a grain of salt...I sure hope we are not being setup for a "comeback kid" routine from sKerry.

This is good news indeed. However, the fact that a man like John Kerry is a serious candidate for the Presidency of the United States is cause for profound concern.

What happened in Russia is proof that these madmen don't give a hoot who is in the WAR on Terror (who is with us or not). They are exactly that what Bush has said they were all along. They are terrorists and they will stop and nothing, even to plow down children to win their cause.
I wonder what Putin is thinking now???? Didn't France get threatened about a week ago???
I have to admit this scares me to think that this kind of thing can happen on our soil, but I am not only afraid of Muslim terrorists, after watching the wackos this past week in New York it makes me wonder if this could not be something these people that call themselves american could do here. Watching them swinging bats at a cardboard image of President Bush, I heard that someone had a sign that read, JOHN HINCKLEY WHERE ARE YOU WHEN WE NEED YOU MOST?, etc.. These people have a HATE and VENGENCE in them that I have never seen before. I am o the belief that they are capable of anything and we need to be on the lookout.

Last night on "Politically Incorrect," I stopped briefly because I recognized Andrew Sullivan. He said "This race is defined by three words: 'Who'se Your Daddy?'"
He's right. The GOP is the "Daddy Party" and the Dems are the "Mommy Party," and right now the house is under assault from a burglar.

Bush should be placing a call to ol' Vlad this week and say, "First, send a division into Iraq as an apology for acting like asses, then, we'll send you some of our best counter-terrorist guys to help you take down the next hostage situation without the body counts."

I thought the same thing! Newsweek can usually be counted on to be four or five points lower than most polls. I wondered if they were trying to spur Kerry to start running an intelligent campaign while trying to give President Bush a false sense of security. There are some that say that Kerry does best when he has to come from behind but we all know that Kerry is a behind! ;o)

It is clear that the Kerry gang is in a panic. Americans don't like dorks who look like they don't know what they are doing.
To: HowlinglyMind-BendingAbsurdity
They're dropping like flies. Clinton has a heart attack, Theresa Heinz ends up in the hospital (stomach ache? Yeah, right.) Notice how quickly their respective spouses rushed to their sides. Molassess moves quicker than these devoted husbands and wives.
Ok, maybe I'm being unfair. Maybe Clinton didnt check in for emergancy by pass just for attention (I'm kidding, I'm kidding. But man that guy will do ANYTHING for attention, do they need the sympathy vote that bad??) I'm kidding! Really. I am. I HOPE.
Anyway, HowlingMind is absurdly correct. They ARE in a panic, and nobody likes a dork who looks like they are playing at let's "pretend to be Commander in Chief".
I'm sorry I still cant get over that sailor suit, uh, sorry "salute." Please tell me his mommy dressed him up for the convention and told him to go out there and "make like a sailor" like he did at his second grade birthday party. THAT, alone, should have convinced us.
Maybe Americans are getting smarter. Maybe Bush's education initiatives are working!! (Hope springs eternal.) ;)

Ter-RAY-sa is in the hospital?
I wonder if anyone told her if it was in Arizona or Nevada.
To: Senator Goldwater
She was checked out and released. No biggie.

Savage, Couldnt agree more. I've already gone through the 5 stages of grief (concern) on that one. What are they? denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. I'd have to add a sixth, however, if he EVER gets elected: It would be called " throwing myself off of a bridge ." ;) (only kidding!)
That would be my 6 stages of dealing with the death of our National Sanity!

To Ironclad and everyone else who responded with similar sentiments,
As tragic as what you say, if true, we can at least take small comfort in the fact that they did not die in vain.
(Of course if all those idiot peacnik traitor liberals hadnt undermined our original mission maybe they would never have had to die at all!) But I digress....
