Looks about right. New Jersey has one of the highest (if not the highest) percentage of unaffiliated (Independent) voters of any state in the country. I believe it is about one third.
another "good" Jaw dropper... will Bush take IL also?

Your analysis sounds about right.
Keep in mind that the McGreevey issue has hacked a lot of Republicans off and they will be more motivated to vote, but there's only a one-percent uptick in the poll.
Also note that the poll overrepresents Independents at the expense of Democrats, not Republicans.
Somebody cue the Charlie Brown music
Snoopy wants to dance
That was then....
but for some reason, they havent done so well YET....
like I said, if i see this (8%!?!) swing in the other polls then of course I will believe it and I will say that Survey USA was first, but as it is, they are the only one with Bush in the lead and therefore, logically, suspect....they do have a Republican affiliation remember...
Joisey?
Joisey?
Joisey?
Don't think every votes doesn't count!
I just moved to Jersey last year from NC, and look what it has caused!!! The state is turning RED!!!
I feel it is all because of me...LOL :) j/k
I had to have a cocktail to celebrate, this hopefully continued, NJ Bush Bounce!!!!
Kerry may be suffering for the folks in Jersey's disgust at their crooked Dem. Gov.McGreevey!!
Whatever it is, I LIKE IT!
Did you just see Juan Williams on O'Reilly??? I guess he is a glutton for punishment, first Brit now O'Reilly.
In Jersey we like to call him McGreedy.
I put in for a vacation day for November 3 last week. I plan to be up off and on all night!
Kerry has to be worried.
Arnold's too busy banning guns to bother campaigning for Republicans.
NJ, 15 EVs, Gore by 16%
THIS IS BIG.
SurveyUSA has been coming out with some polls that have been lukewarm for W lately, so its not like they're reaching here. Still, the internals would be interesting news. Gotta go read.
Survey USA does NOT have a Republican affiliation. You are thinking of Strategic Vision.
ping!
