Has Anyone Else Been Receiving this Racist SPAM from U of Michigan?

I have been receiving these SPAMS about twice a week. They appear to be generated from an IP that is part of the University of Michigan campus network. I called the U of M hotline to report abuse of their system, but I have a suspicion that the perp may be someone with admin privileges.

Here is the SPAM (recipient email addresses have been removed for privacy)

I am including only the first few paragraphs of this SPAM since it is so sickening.

Ya know, I only WISH this were so. I happen to like Jews and think that they would do a pretty darn good job of running the world. I phoned U of M this morning to complain about the spam. The first thing they said was their address had been "spoofed" and it wasn't coming from their system.

I did a traceroute on the IP and it most definitely is coming from their system. They then suggested forwarding the SPAM (with full headers) to "abuse@umich.edu" which I had already done and it bounced.

They then gave me the email address of the campus systems admin. I'm waiting for a reply.

I would really like to know if any other FReepers have received this SPAM.

Resend your complaint to postmaster@umich.edu. They have to accept email sent to postmaster or they are in violation of RFC822 (in which case you can cause a lot of trouble for them by registering them at http://www.rfc-ignorant.org).

If they are not forged, send them to the sys admin at umich.edu ... He will be able to find out pc from where the mail was sent.

Yep! For months, every morning I would get it and a virus would be attached. So when I left in July for 3 weeks I set up a message to be immediately returned that said "Elvis has left the building for an indeterminate time." Haven't rec'd the message since I got back in early August.
