Hurricane Jeanne is looking more and more like a Central Florida landfall come late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Somewhere between Vero Beach/Brevard County or a bit further south in Pt.St.Lucie. Evacuations begin in Brevard County at 6 am.

Checking in from Lake Mary (Orlando area). Sittin' on my screened porch enjoying a cigar and FReeping wireless while the winds pick up. I'll probably go inside soon.
Anyway - This has truly been a very strange season. Just look at the crazy track that Jeanne took, for cryin' out loud. For those of you in earthquake country - I do feel for your plights as well, but at least we can see these things coming and prepare. This season is just a very wierd anomaly. Probably won't see 4 in 1 for quite a while after this.
FReegards to all, and stay safe Florida FReepers.
- Pete

re your tagline....

Hey--thanks! We are boarding up (again--sigh)now. Have a bunch of freshly planted fence posts, the cement is still wet...still haven't figured out how to secure the stacks of fence panels yet...boat is secured.
Gosh--would really hate to lose those fence panels before they are even put up! Oh well...we are cooking up some BBQ ribs now. What a day.
Best to all in Jeanne's path--hang tough!
