Praying for all of you in Jeanne's path. BTW isn't her name French? LOL

Do you have a live streaming link to Channel 9 Orlando? Their web page says they will be streaming live at 7 p.m. but hasn't given a link yet.

There is one supposedly south of Christmas, which is between Orlando and the Cape.

I just recalled, the other day was the Fall Equinox, so that alone will cause higher tides, so this will really make for high waters.

okay.. now a question to answer why one goes to this type of thread rather than just follow the weather sites.

when I lived in Fla & NC coastal areas when hurricanes were approaching there always seemed to be arrogant surfers out.

are there now?

I can see them with tattoos on their chests: I Am Stupid.

Tattooed on back : I will vote for Kerry if I live

Read this week that Cyprus Gardens was going to reopen soon. T wonder if after Jeanne they wiill weather the storm financially.
Tourism is really going to be hit with this one. Sea World and Disney are on the wrong side of the storm I think.
Tampa - all planes cancelled until 5 tomorrow.
Down here in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda we will get a brushing. (fingers crossed).
The overtime pay for the police, firemen etc will really bust the budgets this year. Not to worry, the Legislature has spent the reserves so they wouldn't have to raise taxes. Down here in Charltte County the gov't buildings were underinsured.

This may have been mentioned before, but is there a real-time Internet stream covering Jeanne from Florida or major weather channel?

Thanks for picture, I'm on the Palm Beach/Broward county line, right where all that nasty-looking yellow was when that picture was taken.

Remeber when the eye is over you the hurricane is only half over.
Stay cool and stay safe. Do you have a generator.
Air condition will be off- use a bucket of cold water and soak your feet. It cools the blood and the body.

"Remeber when the eye is over you the hurricane is only half over. Stay cool and stay safe. Do you have a generator. Air condition will be off- use a bucket of cold water and soak your feet. No generator, but I do have an inverter to run small appliances off my car battery.
